Aditya L1: India's Solar Mission Overview

The Aditya L1 mission is India's first solar mission, planned to launch in September 2023. It will orbit the Lagrangian point L1, about 1.5 million km from Earth, carrying payloads developed by ISRO and other research laboratories to study the Sun's corona, solar wind, flares, and their impact on Earth. The mission aims to gain insights into coronal heating and solar wind acceleration through uninterrupted observations from this vantage point. Aditya L1 will provide the debut near-UV imaging of the solar disk surface and probe CME dynamics closer to the Sun than previous missions.

ADITYA-L1 MISSION
The Aditya L1 mission will orbit the Lagrange point L1 in a halo formation, positioned approximately 1.5 million
kilometers away from Earth. At this equilibrium point, the gravitational influences of the Sun and Earth are evenly
matched. This orbital vantage allows the Aditya L1 spacecraft to conduct uninterrupted and comprehensive
observations of the Sun, unaffected by eclipses.

Roll axis of the spacecraft. ASPEX Payload Consists of SWIS & STEPS.

How To Edit Shapes
You can add and edit some shapes to your presentation to present your data in a visual way.

● Choose your favourite infographic and insert it in your presentation using Ctrl C + Ctrl V or Cmd C + Cmd V
in Mac.
● Select one of the parts and ungroup it by right-clicking and choosing “Ungroup”.
● Change the color by clicking on the paint bucket.
● Then resize the element by clicking and dragging one of the square-shaped points of its bounding box (the
cursor should look like a double-headed arrow). Remember to hold Shift while dragging to keep the
proportions.
● Group the elements again by selecting them, right-clicking and choosing “Group”.
● Repeat the steps above with the other parts and when you’re done editing, copy the end result and paste it into
your presentation.
