• IN THIS METHOD OF ORGANIZING A TOURNAMENT , THE
TOTAL NUMBER OF TEAMS ARE DIVIDED INTO FOUR EQUAL
ZONES . FIRST OF ALL , THE TEAMS IN EACH ZONE PLAY ON A
KNOCK OUT BASIS. THUS ONE TEAM FROM EACH ZONE IS
DECLARED THE WINNER OF THAT ZONE . ALL THE FOUR
WINNER TEAMS AGAIN PLAY THEIR MATCHES ON A KNOCK
OUT BASIS . THE TEAM THAT WINS THE FINAL BECOMES THE
WINNER OF THE TOURNAMENT
