Procedure for a Water
Manicure I. Preparation Steps:
1. Prepare all the
materials and tools
needed.
2. Wash your hands.
3. Place a clean
towels.
4. Sit and examine
patrons/clients
hands and nails.

Manicure II. Procedure Steps:
1. Remove old nail
polish.
2. Trim/cut the nails.
3. Shape/bevel the
nail with nail file.
4. Apply cuticle
remover to soften
the nails.

5. Push back the nail
and the cuticle.
6. Clean under free
edge.
7. Trim cuticle.
8. Brush nails.
9. Apply Merthiolate
10.Dry hands.
1. Do not use too much pressure

loosening the cuticle.
PRECAUTIONS: 2. Keep all containers covered
and labelled.
3. Handle sharp-pointed
implements carefully and
avoid dropping them.
4. Don’t file too deeply into nail
corners.
5. Apply antiseptic immediately
if the skin is accidentally cut.
6. Avoid too much pressure at
the base of the nail.
