The Power of Thougths

INTRODUCTION

Throughout this presentation we will talk about

the power of thoughts in daily life and its
application in diseases, as well as the different
techniques to take advantage of it.
OUR BRAIN CHARACTERISTICS
RIGHT
LEFT

• Weigth: 1300 - 1400 gr

• Contains at least 100,000 We have two hemispheres
millions of neurons Neurons receive sensory inputs
• Receives information from and send orders to different parts
abroad, processes it, makes it of the body
make sense, organizes and
controls movement
They need to be connected to
each other to survive.

Ability that people have to form ideas and
representations of reality in their minds, relating to THOUGHT
each other.
"Thought is a human quality"
CHARACTERISTICS

• It is an abstract activity of the mind.

INTENTION • Allows you to create ideas and representations
• It is a conditioned capacity
• It is a capacity that can be improved by
practicing mental exercises and by
From the lat. intentio, -ōnis. incorporating new content.
Intention is defined as focused thought to perform a
certain action. Therefore goal-directed thoughts can
affect inanimate objects and probably all living
matter.
"We need to learn to manage
our emotions"

TYPES OF THINKING
PROCECESSES
THERE ARE DIFFERENT TYPES OF THOUGHT WHICH WE ARE
GOING TO USE IN CERTAIN OCCASIONS DEPENDING ON THE
TASK WE ARE DOING

The thoughts we adopt have different characteristics and develop over time.
A thought will always be accompanied by other types of mental processes that
are closely related to emotions.
Critical thinking

Deductive thinking

Inductive thinking

TYPES OF THINKING
PROCESSES Analytical thought
Interrogative thought

Creative thought
THE POWER OF POSITIVE THINKING
Positive thinking doesn't mean that you ignore the unpleasant situations in life. Positive
thinking just means that you deal with the unpleasant in a more positive and productive
way.

Positive thinking usually starts with self-talk.

Positive thinking is helpful for stress management and can even improve your health.

The health benefits of positive thinking:

• Increased life expectancy

• Lower rates of depression
• Lower levels of emotional suffering and pain
• Increased resistance to disease
• Greater psychological and physical well-being
• Better cardiovascular health
• Better ability to cope with a difficult situation during difficulties and times of
stress
EFFECTS OF NEGATIVE THINKING
Negative thoughts make us lose energy and weaken us.
They trigger harmful emotions, produce physical symptoms and encourage inappropriate behavior

They are a contamination in our mind and body and we should prioritize eliminate this toxicity from our lives as soon as
possible, in this way we will strengthen our mind and we will be able to see positive changes in our physical and mental
health.

The problem comes because we are not aware of most of our thoughts, on most occasions.

The tools to make this change of perspective are the following:

• Accept the emotions we feel
• Talk about our emotions with someone we trust or go to therapy
• Use relaxation techniques
• Be grateful for what lives in your present and what you already have
• Taking care of our body is essential
• hang out with positive people
• Practice positive self-talk
• Find activities that allow you to have a good time or get out of the routine.
"It is important to pay attention to
our mental health"
BRAIN
REPROGRAMMING
Brain reprogramming, also known as mental reprogramming, is the brain's ability to reset itself in the face of certain
situations.

Reprogramming will help you to know yourself better, be more productive and have more confidence in yourself

For neuroscience, reprogramming the mind in 21 days is not only possible, but also recommended.

To reprogram the mind it is necessary to follow the following steps.

• Ask yourself questions
• Change your thoughts
• Live in the present
• Visualize
• Meditate "Access to free
healthcare"
CONCLUSION

In conclusion, as we have been able to see throughout this

presentation, our mind is very powerful and we have the power to
shape it to improve our emotions, health and the environment in
which we operate.

Everything we want in our lives is possible and it all depends on

where we focus our energies and thoughts, the more we take care of
ourselves, cultivate our body and mind, and acquire positive habits, it
will be easier to face the challenges that arise on a daily basis. and
thus reach our goals.
Thanks
