Progress made in establishing the Ethiopia Healthcare Accreditation Program
(EHAP) so far
-Consensus-building meetings were conducted among MoH, IES, and EAS.
-A tripartite MOU was signed by MoH, IES, and EAS.
-The development of Hospital Accreditation Standards is nearing completion.
-A draft of the incentive package was prepared.
Progress made in establishing the Ethiopia Healthcare Accreditation Program
(EHAP) so far…..
-Preparation has started for the Healthcare Accreditation Program manual.
-Capacity building training provided by International Society for Quality in Health
Care (ISQua) for TWG members and the LEO staffs
- 11 staff members were awarded the ISQua Fellowship by the Irish government.
-A visit for sharing experiences in the implementation of the Healthcare Accreditation Program
will be conducted next month.
