What is Irony?
> Irony is a figure of speech in
which words are used in such a way
that their intended meaning is
different from the actual meaning of
word.
Three Types of Irony
> Verbal Irony
> Situational Irony
> Dramatic Irony
Verbal Irony
> a figure of speech where
someone says or writes something
with the intention of conveying a
meaning that is different from the
literal meaning.

Situational Irony

of something happening that is very
different to what was expected.

Dramatic Irony

characters.
