Our Work So Far
Committee Formation and Responsibilities: The accreditation
committee was formed, consisting of dedicated faculty and staff
members responsible for overseeing the accreditation process.
Curriculum Evaluation and Alignment: Extensive work has been done
to evaluate and align our curriculum with ABET criteria. This includes
mapping courses to specific learning outcomes and ensuring
comprehensive coverage.
Faculty Development and Training: Faculty members have actively
engaged in development programs to enhance their teaching methods
and align with ABET standards.
Lab Inventory and Enhancement Plan: A comprehensive inventory of
our laboratory resources has been conducted. This involves cataloging
equipment, ensuring functionality, and assessing the alignment with

Our Work So Far
Student Outcomes Assessment: Initiatives have been
implemented to assess student outcomes rigorously. We have
been tracking and analyzing data to measure the achievement
of program objectives.
Facilities Assessment: A detailed assessment of our facilities,
including classrooms and laboratories, has been carried out to
ensure they meet the requirements set by ABET.
Curriculum Enhancement: Based on our curriculum evaluation,
necessary enhancements have been proposed and
implemented to ensure that our program remains up-to-date
and responsive to industry needs.

Challenges
Curriculum Alignment: Ensuring that our curriculum aligns perfectly
with ABET criteria has been a significant challenge. It involves
mapping our course offerings to meet specific learning outcomes,
which can be time-consuming and require faculty consensus.
Faculty Development: Preparing our faculty to meet the rigorous
standards set by ABET is an ongoing process. Faculty development
programs have been initiated, but we need to ensure that all
instructors are fully equipped to deliver high-quality education.
Resource Enhancement: Improving our facilities, laboratories, and
resources to meet ABET's expectations requires a substantial
investment. Finding the necessary funding and resources is a
challenge.
Data Collection: Gathering data for student outcomes assessment is
a complex task. Ensuring that we have the right mechanisms in
place to track and measure student performance is vital.

Next Steps(1/2)
Curriculum Refinement: Continue refining our curriculum to meet ABET
criteria. This includes making necessary adjustments to course content and
learning outcomes, as well as incorporating industry-relevant topics and
technologies.
Faculty Training: Provide ongoing training and professional development
opportunities for faculty to enhance their teaching methods and ensure that
they are well-versed in ABET requirements.
Resource Investment: Seek funding and resources to improve facilities, labs,
and equipment, making sure they align with ABET expectations and the
evolving needs of our program.
Data Analytics Tools: Implement data analytics tools and systems to
effectively track and analyze student performance data. This will help in the
continuous assessment of student outcomes and program effectiveness
