DEFINITION
Biofeedback is a technique that uses monitoring instrument's to
measure feedback information about muscle tension, heartrate ,
sweat responses, skin temperature and brain activity.
-Biofeedback is an important part of understanding the
relationship between physical state and thought, feeling and
behaviour.
PURPOSE
The main purpose of biofeedback is to enhance an individual’s
awareness of physical reaction to physical, emotional or
psychological stress and their ability to influence their own
physiological response.
