workers and the suppression of traditional culture..

predicted the birth of a Saint, had
been passed down for hundred years.
When Uncle Ho was born, everyone
believed that he is the saint which
was metioned in that prediction.

In 1911, a young man named Nguyen Tat
Thanh started his own journey in order to
“find the country’s shape” . His journey
lasted for 30 years, until 1941 when he
returned to his homeland

Ho Chi Minh embarked on a journey that would take him
across the globe, working as a kitchen hand on a French
steamer.

In Europe, Ho immersed himself in Western thought,
learning about democracy, socialism, and the works of
Karl Marx.
1917-1923: Political Activities in France and
the US
Ho became actively involved in socialist circles, writing
articles advocating for Vietnamese independence.

Communist International in Moscow,
Russia from June 17, August 8, 1924

Japan's surrender: In August 1945, Japan
surrendered, leaving a power vacuum in

of independence possible.
