Time order text type-
present ideas according to the
time which they occurred. The
major supporting details are
arranged in sequence order to
when they happened or
should happen.
 Time order can be
introduced by signal words
such as first, after, while,
during, next, last, later,
finally, then.
 It is often used in story,
historical topics, directions,
procedures or processes.
Kate's Breakfast
It was very early in the morning.
Kate woke up with a hungry stomach.
She got dressed. Then, she went to
the kitchen. She prepared a small
pan and made bacon and egg. The
bacon was very crunchy and very
tasty. After that, Kate put a few
cookies on a plate and ate them with
a cup of milk.
