Habitats of Animals

Animals live in places where
they can get food, protection,
and other things they need in
order to live. The place where
they live is called habitat.
Animals can live on land or on
trees, and in water.
Dogs, cats,
horses, sheep,
and goats live
on land.
Some animals live on different places of
land. They live in gardens, jungles,
desserts, or other places on land.
Here are some animals that lives on
gardens (specifically, under the ground).
Birds, butterflies, and other
insects live on trees or plants.
They fly in the air using their
wings.
Animals that live in water have special parts
such as fins and flat tails to help them move.
Fish have gills to help them breathe under the
water. Fish, sharks, and whales live in bodies of
water.
Other animals can live both on
land and in water. Here are some
