Love has been a recurring theme in
ancient texts and poetry from
civilizations such as Mesopotamia,
Egypt, Greece, and Rome. The
ancient Sumerian Epic of Gilgamesh,
dating back to around 2100 BCE,
includes themes of friendship, loss,
and the search for immortality, which
often intersect with the concept of
history
Ancient cave paintings, sculptures, and
artifacts often depict scenes of affection,
intimacy, and familial bonds. One famous
example is the Paleolithic cave paintings in
places like Lascaux in France and Altamira
in Spain, which include depictions of human
figures nearby, suggesting social bonds and
possibly romantic connections.

Dictionary is 2 things :
• A strong affection for another arising out of
kinship or personal ties
• warm attachment, enthusiasm, or devotion

Love, scientifically, is a complex
interplay of brain activity and
neurochemicals such as dopamine,
oxytocin, and serotonin. These
substances contribute to feelings of
pleasure, bonding, and attachment,
shaping the emotional rewards and
deep connections associated with love.

political necessity, essential for the stability
and progress of society. In the realm of
politics, love manifests as empathy,
compassion, and a commitment to the well-
being of all citizens. When leaders govern with
love, they prioritize the needs of the most
vulnerable, striving to create a more just and
equitable society.
