Artificial Intelligence (AI)
refers to computer systems
capable of performing
complex tasks that
historically only a human
could do, such as reasoning,
making decisions, or solving
problems.
SOME OF THE MOST COMMON EXAMPLES OF AI IN USE
TODAY INCLUDE:-
(1)ChatGPT:- Uses large language models (LLMs) to
generate text in response to questions or comments
posted in it.
(2)Google Translate:-Uses deep learning algorithms to
translate text from one language to another.
(3)Netflix:- Uses machine learning algorithms to create
Personalized recommendation engines for users based on
their previous viewing history.
(1)Finance Industry:- Fraud detection is a
notable use case for AI in the finance
industry. AI’s capability to analyze large
amounts of data enables. It to detect
anomalies or patterns that signal fraudulent
behaviour.
(2)Health Care Industry:- AI-Powered could
support surgeries close to highly delicate
organs or tissue to mitigate blood loss or
risk of infection.
(1) Strong AI:- Strong AI is capable of human-
level, general intelligence.
(2) Weak AI:- Weak AI refers to the narrow use
of widely available AI technology, like machine
learning or deep learning, to perform very
specific tasks, such as playing chess,
recommending songs, or steering cars.
THE 4 TYPES OF AI:-
1. Reactive Machine:- Reactive
Machines are the most basic type of
artificial intelligence. Machines built
in this way don’t possess any
knowledge of previous events but
instead only “react” to what is
before them in a given moment. As a
result, they can only perform certain
advanced tasks within a very narrow
scope, such as playing chess, and are
Machines with limited
memory possess a limited
understanding of past events.
They interact more with the
world around them than
reactive machines can. For
Theory of Mind Machines:- Machines that
possess a “theory of mind” represent an
early form of artificial general
intelligence. In addition to being able to
create representations of the world,
machines of this type world have an
understanding of other entities that exist
within the world. As of this moment, this
reality has not materialized.
Machines with self-
awareness are the
theoretically most
advanced type of AI and
would passes an
understanding of the
world, others, and itself.

Machine learning is a subset of artificial
intelligence that automatically enables a
machine or system to learn and improve
from experience. Instead of explicit
programming, machine learning uses
algorithms to analyze large amounts of
data, learn from the insights, and then
make informed decisions.
• Deep learning is an artificial intelligence (AI)
method that teaches computers to process data
in a way inspired by the human brain. Deep
learning models can recognize complex pictures,
text, sounds, and other data patterns to produce
accurate insights and predictions.
A Neural Network is a method in Artificial
Intelligence (AI) that teaches computers
to process data in a way that is inspired
by the human brain. It is a type of
Machine Learning (ML) process, called
Deep Learning, that uses interconnected
nodes or neurons in a layered structure
that resembles the human brain.
Cognitive Computing is a type of
Artificial Intelligence (AI) that
simulates human thought
processes. It involves machines
that can learn, reason, and
understand language in a way that
is similar to how humans do.
Natural Language Processing (NLP) is a
subfield of computer science and
Artificial intelligence (AI) that uses
Machine Learning to enable computers
to understand and communicate with
human language.
Computer Vision, a type of Artificial Intelligence,
enables computers to interpret and analyze the
visual world, simulating the way humans see and
understand their environment. It applies Machine
Learning Models to identify and classify objects in
digital images and videos, then lets computers
react to what they see.
