does not get involved with religion and it
treats all religions the same and does not
promote any one religion. This helps make
sure that everyone, no matter what they
believe or follow is treated fairly.
Why is it important to
separate religion from state?
Separating religion from the state is important
because it ensures that the government treats
everyone equally, regardless of their religious
beliefs. It prevents any one religion from having
special power or advantages and protects
people’s rights to practice any religion or no
religion at all. This helps to create a fair and
just society where everyone's beliefs are
respected.

bias, all while sticking to the
values of fairness in the
Constitution.

manage or fix issues, even if they are not
directly in charge. For instance, the
government might get involved to handle
interferen religious disputes or make laws to ensure
everyone is treated fairly. This approach
ce helps keep things balanced and peaceful
in society.
Strategy of
non-
intervention
“Strategy of non-intervention"
means the government or
organization avoids getting
involved in certain issues,
letting people or groups
manage their own matters. For
example, it may allow religious
communities to handle their
own affairs, respecting their
freedom and encouraging self-
management.
