Rules and guidelines to be followed by the driver at the customer's
location or facility are:

1. All drivers and helpers must wear mandatory PPE such as a


reflective vest, safety shoes, and safety helmet during duty time.
2. Drivers should carry a valid ID, driving license, or training card.
3. Drivers should ensure vehicles have a valid license plate and
applicable permits.
4. While entering the premises, drivers must report to the
security room and register in the logbook.
5. Attend HSSEQ facility induction and follow facility rules and
guidelines.
6. If mobile phones are not allowed inside the facility, Strictly avoid
usage.
7. The influence of alcohol is strictly prohibited as per company
policy.
8. Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the operational areas of
the facility. The designated smoking area should be used.
9. Photography and videography are strictly prohibited inside the
facility (in the event that they are required, always seek permission
from the premise supervisor before the activity).
10. Rules and guidelines regarding traffic movement inside the
premises should be followed.
11. The speed limit (10 KMPH–20 KMPH) should be followed at all
times. If the customer has more rigorous requirements, the same will
remain.
12. All vehicles shall be parked in reverse only (front side towards the
road and tail side towards the warehouse) at the loading bay, the engine
should be turned off, and wheel chocks shall be positioned at the rear
wheels on both sides prior to loading. And this should be followed while
parking.
13. Reversing vehicles should be done with the assistance of a
banksman or ground staff.
14. The driver should hand over the vehicle key to the floor supervisor
during loading, if required.
15. The driver should check and secure the locks after the completion
of loading.
16. While leaving the warehouse premises, the driver must hand over the gate
pass to the security guard.
17. The security guard will do quantity verification against the gate pass issued and
close the logbook with vehicle out time.
18. Drivers should cooperate with security guards and customer staff to perform
their tasks as instructed by the management and comply with Emirates Logistics
procedures.
19. Inside the customer's premises, the driver must take utmost care of the
property, parked vehicles, products, etc. while manoeuvring the vehicle. In the event
of any incident or damage to the property, the supplier or customer shall be solely
responsible for any damages or losses.
20. Emirates Logistics has stop work authority. If you notice any unsafe acts or
conditions, please report them to the Emirates Logistics HSEQ Team for further action.
21. In case of an emergency or upon hearing sirens, drivers should report to the
assembly point immediately and follow the instructions of the security guards.
