 Perseus ceiling variant cannot be operated on the Service Trolley
 Perseus ceiling variant can currently only be used on Movita and Forta
(not focus of this webinar, but solution for third party is in work)

Challenges
Example 1

• Customer has not yet ceiling supply units


• Customer has to purchase 10 anesthesia devices in 2015 (e.g. because old devices run out
of service or because of budget reasons)
• Customer is interested in Perseus
• Ceiling supply (Forta/Movita) is planned to be installed in 2017

Customer requirements:
 10 trolley based devices required by 2015
 10 ceiling mounted devices by 2017
 Customer is not willing to pay 20 devices

Our situation:
 We are not able to rent 10 devices to the customer
 Taking back the 10 trolley devices in 2017 would lead to much effort

• Same dimensions as normal trolley variant


• Same ergonomics for the user
• Same wheels with cable deflectors
• Same resistance against tipping
• Same central break and single wheel brakes
for the rear wheels
• All monitoring combinations that are available
for the ceiling variant also approved for use on
the Flexibility Trolley
• Remote control grip remains on the device but
without function

It is a technical conversion

• Service technician required (conversion within round about 20


minutes)
• Conversion kit includes all necessary parts:
• The Flexibility Trolley itself
• Conversion instruction for the technician (de & en)
• Mounting parts (four screws)
• Multi language supplement paper for Perseus ceiling variant
• All monitors and power supplies can remain on the device, still
easy to Service
• Longer power supply cables and hoses might be needed

Stability of the mechanical connection

How to order the Flexibility Trolley
The two ordering situations

For an existing Perseus With a new Perseus


 Customer wants to use his existing Customer purchases a new Perseus ceiling variant
ceiling variant on a trolley and want to use it on a trolley
 Involve Service technician  Order MK06000, select ceiling variant
 Order MK09104 as a line item  Select Flexibility trolley
 List price = 6.900 €  Select length of power cable (if 5 m cable available)
 (Service Trolley 1.957,43 €)  Device will be delivered on the trolley
 If required, order additionally  If required, order kits for swivel arm or poles as line
longer cables and hoses items (will not be mounted in the production)
 If required, order additionally

Availability

• 17 Trolleys have been build up, next 50 trolleys are planned to be build up in Q2, 2015
• Flexibility trolley (MK09104) available in SAP/SP4 (in the moment only German IfU)
• Introduction in Perseus configuration (MK06000) planned until February 13th
• Translation of the IfU nearly finished (planned until end of February)
• Existing devices and SAP SP/4 will be updated immediately afterwards
• CE approval available, flexibility trolley shall be available in all countries where the ceiling
variant is approved (regulatory affairs is investigating this currently)
