OBJECTIVE
• To prevent theft and misplacement of clothes in hostels
or shared living spaces.
• To provide a simple app for residents to track the
number of clothes given for wash daily.
• To ensure clear collection and delivery timings with
digital verification.
• To build trust and accountability in the laundry service
process.

SCOPE OF THIS IDEA
Designed for hostels, PG accommodations, and student
dormitories.
• Room-wise profiles for residents to register and log
clothes count.
• Laundry staff can update timings for collection and
delivery.
• Notifications/reminders for both residents and staff.
• Potential to expand to apartments, housing societies, or
paying guest facilities.

EXISTING MODELS
• Manual registers and handwritten tags are used for
tracking.
• No digital link between clothes tracking and room
occupants.
• Misplacement and theft complaints are common in
hostels.
• No structured time slots for collection or delivery.
• Existing laundry apps mostly focus on commercial
laundry, not shared

PROPOSED MODEL
• A mobile/web app for residents and laundry staff.
• Each room creates a secure profile with room number
and resident names.
• Residents log the number of clothes given for washing
daily.
• Laundry staff log collection and delivery time slots.
• Digital confirmation on both handover and return.

IMPLEMENTATION METHODOLGY(diagrams, flowchart, or any simulated

pictures of the clothes).
• Step 4: Laundry staff use the staff portal to record collection and delivery.
