Entry Requirements
• Medium of Instruction – English
• IELTS/TOEFL can be waived.
• Student must be fluent in English with good communication skills. Student receives a
Telephonic Interview call from school programmer from Italy. The interview is to judge
English proficiency of candidate which lasts for 10 to 15 minutes. In addition to this,
student is also interviewed by Visa officer during the Visa process.

JURISDICTION
Applications from residents of New Delhi, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu
& Kashmir, Punjab, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand and Chandigarh
are to be decided by the Embassy of Italy in New Delhi.
Applications from residents of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, Goa, Gujarat,
Kerala, Maharashtra, Daman and Diu, Dadra, Nagar Haveli, Lakshadweep are
to be decided by the Consulate of Italy in Mumbai.
Applications from residents of Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu,
Telangana, Puducherry are to be decided by the
Consulate of Italy in Bangalore.
Applications from residents of the States of Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Bihar,
Jharkhand, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland, Orissa, Tripura, Sikkim
and West Bengal, the Union Territory of the Andaman & Nicobar Islands and
Nepal are to be decided by the Consulate of Italy in Kolkata.
Documents required for Visa
• Complete visa application form.
• Offer letter of the Institution duly signed and stamped by an authorized person of the
Institution.
• Work Experience Certificate (if any) duly signed and stamped by an authorized person of the
Organization.
• Last Academic Qualification – apostilled and stamped by MEA and HRD. (Attestation by Sub-
divisional Magistrate (SDM) is not accepted)
• Declaration of Value – DOV (if required) of the applicant’s educational certificates duly
legalized by the Consular office of the Embassy or alternatively not required as advised by
the local Italian Institution.
• Booked Accommodation– 1-3 months
• Flight ticket booking – one way
• Travel Medical Insurance of 30,000 Euros coverage of at least for 3 months.
• English language proficiency (depends on the jurisdiction)

Documents required for Visa
• FINANCIALS:
• Proof of means of support in Italy of not less than Euro 534.41 for each month, or 6.947,33
annually. This availability can be proven through:
• 1. Documents proving applicant's source of income. If financially supported by a sponsor, the
applicant is required to provide sponsorship letter and sponsor’s ID proof, evidence of
sponsor's employment/business activity, sponsor’s ITR-V forms for last 3 years and bank
account statements for last 6 months duly stamped and signed by bank manager.
• 2. Educational loan (it will be accepted only if deposited and visible on bank statements
submitted by the applicant) Else, the relevance shall be evaluated on a case to case basis.
Documents required for Visa
In case of scholarship from Italian Government:
Proof of scholarship in original. Where the amount of the scholarship does not satisfy the
minimum amount established by law, the availability can be proven through the proofs
mentioned in points no. 1 and 2
According to Italian law, those who can act as sponsor are: applicant’s parents (no other
family member is eligible), Italian or foreign nationals legally residing in Italy, Institutions
and Italian established authorities as universities and local Government bodies or foreign
authorities recognized by Italian Government.
VISA FEES – EUR 50
