home internet service gateway

My family built new homes about 6 months ago and all postal services recognize our address, but t-mobile system does not. I can see that t-mobile services house on our street and in our neighborhood. Can anyone help direct me to the best contact to get my address in their system. We are currently being forced to use an over priced internet source that does not even work 90% of the time. I would love to switch to t-mobile and get a service that actually works and is affordable. There doesn't seem to be an option to split the 2.4 and 5ghz wifi bands anymore? In the manual for the gate way it says you can do it in the web UI, but when I log in there is no option for it. Same in the app. I have devices that can only run on 2.4 ghz, so I really need to have thia feature... any solutions?32KViews4likes17CommentsG4Se Problem with LAN port speed.
I just bought my Wifi Home from T-Mobile. I got the G4SE modem. Everything works well, I only have one drawback: I have my own network with my router and when I connect to the interface via LAN, my router receives about a third of the speed I get by connecting my phone to the G4SE modem wifi. My question is whether this happens to anyone else. Are LAN ports limited in speed? I have good coverage and the wifi is fast, but any LAN-connected device gets noticeable bad speed, whether it's PC or router.667Views2likes4CommentsInternet connetion constantly dropping
I just signed up for the Home Internet this week and everything installed fine and I tought it was working. My set up is the Arcadyan KVD21 5G gateway with a Nest Wifi mesh system. I connected the Nest wifi to the gateway so I would not have to set up every device in my house. The internet connection on the Nest Wifi will not stay on, it constantly drops and I am getting really frustrated with this. I had high hopes I could finally get speeds at my house higher than 25Mbps and when it works, I do (150+). What good is home internet if the connection constantly drops? Furthermore, they promote you get a year of Paramount+, which I already have through my phone service. I can’t even watch Paramount+ when I do have a connection cause it tells me I am using a VPN, which I am not. Might be time to just bite the bullet and send this back as it seems it is not ready for prime time.Solved8.2KViews2likes23CommentsT-Mobile Home Internet Gateway "No USIM" error
I recently just purchased the T-Mobile Home internet service but upon turning on the device at home, instead of automatically going to a software update or displaying the connection signal strength, it gave me an error saying “No USIM”. At first I thought there was no sim card in the device. After checking the sim card holder, there was in fact a sim card installed. After many calls to T-Mobile’s customer service team, no troubleshooting step they gave me worked. I have tried turning it on and off, factory reset, uninstalling and reinstalling the sim card, and still the same “No USIM” error occurs. After many unsuccessful attempts, I eventually just called and ordered a new sim card. New sim card comes in, not surprisingly doesn’t work. At this point of writing, I am considering taking the device back to the original store I received it from and getting a replacement router. Any idea how to fix my problem before I take the device back to the store? My device is the Cylinder 5GNokia Router btw.Solved14KViews2likes9CommentsInternet CONSTANTLY drops
Anyone else having issues with the gateway? I have been having issues since before August with the internet dropping constantly and phone calls in the house constantly dropping. I work from home so this cannot happen. I have had multiple T-Mobile techs try to help. I have had a new gateway sent, we upgraded to the mesh, the reset the gateway, we even got a new sim card for the gateway. NOTHING is working. I have been seeing online that it has to do with the firmware update. This needs to be fixed ASAP. I don’t know what else to do besides change providers!2.3KViews4likes19CommentsT-Mobile 5G Gateway (G4AR or G4SE) question
I just received a new T-Mobile 5G Gateway (G4AR or G4SE) & it’s been working fine. Is there a way that I can login to the ‘admin’ account & access admin functions WITHOUT using the ‘T-Mobile Internet app’? I’d like to do this using my PC. TIA,1.5KViews1like2Comments
