It has been quiet on this website during the summer, but that does not mean that we have been idle: we have worked very hard on the upcoming build of X# 3. You can expect some new features in the compiler (for example primary constructors and a new XBaseNet dialect).
We have also worked on optimizing performance of late bound code in the runtime and adding missing VFP function.
Our VFP Exporter and VFP UI library have also been updated, to make it easier to migrate your VFP applications.
And we have made some changes in the VS integration to better support SDK style projects. We have also made some changes to imprive the performance of our project system for very large solutions.
We expect that this new build of X# will go in Beta in the coming weeks.
Apart from that we have also worked on a new XSharp.Printing library that allows you to run ReportPro reports as well as VFP reports.
This is a fully managed solution on top of the Windows.Forms printing classes. More information about this will follow shortly,
We have also improved the SQLRDD and will publish a new (final?) beta in a few weeks as well. We have received some help from a few customers that are testing this SQL RDD in their apps.
