Wyld
A downloadable game
You kick your paws up, lean back into a snug armchair and sip on your favourite beverage while the smells of baking apple pie drift from Nanny Hawthorne’s kitchen. You love living in your little Wylding community. Life is sooo … wait.
Was that a scream?!
Wyld is a cozy ol’ fantasy tabletop roleplaying game not for the faint of heart. If your idea of a fun game starts in a sleepy town where at least some of the people have furry feet, and perhaps ends up in the same town but with buildings on fire and a ravaging horde looking for fur feet trophies, then Wyld is for you. As Uncle Digbert always said, around every corner is a new… aaaargh!!! Monster?
- Fast and potentially random character creation
- Easy to learn and play
- Simple dice mechanic for resolving tests
- Versatile magic system
- Random tables for creating situations and adventures
- Random consequences when spells don’t cast quite as planned
Wyldings or Wylders?
Play a pastoral Wylding or a nomadic Wylder as your cozy world gradually darkens with the return of horrific and ravenous creatures that had disappeared from the world of Sunder in ages past.
Unique Design
Wyld is designed to be a classless, fast-leveling game, with a versatile magic system. Weapons strike without a roll and player characters have a high chance of succeeding on ability tests... except when they don’t. Such failures though, help to build story and give other PCs a chance to shine.
Play an Animal Humanoid
Characters in Wyld are Wyld Folk - humanoids who share some physical traits with a specific animal - their animal kin. They are the sapient species of Sunder, and while biologically diverse, are divided into two cultural groups - Wyldings and Wylders. For centuries they have been safe in their communities, but the world is growing dangerous as old threats begin to reappear.
