Stanford Law School's Richard Thompson Ford authored an opinion piece, "Gutting DEI Won’t Save Us," published by The Chronicle of Higher Education on how Colleges and Universities should handle the attacks from the Trump administration on DEI.
"The Trump ...administration blends illegitimate coercion with rambling incoherence," Ford said. "Colleges and universities can’t tell whether they should pay up, call in the law (at the risk of getting torched before help arrives), or just ignore Trump and hope he falls asleep."

Stanford Center for Racial Justice Law and Policy Lab, "Roses Talk: Elevating At-Promise Student Voices in San José Unified," addresses persistent disparities in education by centering “at-promise” student voices in education policy and practice. In the course, Stanford students ...conduct interviews and focus groups with the most marginalized students at Gunderson High School, a Title I school in San José Unified School District.
Using this data, students will develop policy recommendations that inform school and district decision making, particularly on how to engage and improve outcomes for at-promise students across the district. As part of their coursework, students author a series of independent blog posts that offer insight into their experiences.

Twenty years ago, a cross-campus team spanning Stanford Law School and the Computer Science Department came together to lay one of the cornerstones of today’s legal-tech ecosystem: CodeX – The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics.
CodeX recently marked two decades of pioneering work ...at the intersection of the legal system and technology. The centerpiece of the celebratory week was the annual, all-day FutureLaw conference on April 10, a standing-room-only event that, for the last 12 years, has brought together global leaders in legal technology, artificial intelligence, and computational law.
