CyberKnight has announced a new strategic partnership with Horizon3.ai, expanding access to autonomous penetration testing and adversarial exposure validation across the Middle East. The announcement was made on Day 1 of Black Hat MEA, in the presence of Matt Percival, Regional Director for EMEA at Horizon3.ai; Tamer Odeh, Middle East & Africa Regional Lead at Horizon3.ai; Avinash Advani, CEO & Founder of CyberKnight; and Wael Jaber, Chief Strategy Officer at CyberKnight. As demand for automated pentesting grows due to expanding attack surfaces, limited red-team capacity, and the need for continuous security control validation, the global shift toward scalable, automated security models is accelerating. Horizon3.ai has already executed more than 180,000 autonomous pentests and was recently recognized as a Sample Vendor in Gartner’s Hype Cycle for Security Operations. Across MENA, rapid cloud adoption, AI-driven transformation, and modernization efforts are increasing the urgency for real-time exposure visibility. With CyberKnight’s strong regional footprint, the partnership will support enterprises and government entities in embedding attacker-centric validation within existing architectures and regulatory frameworks. Matt Percival noted that the collaboration brings autonomous pentesting to critical sectors, while Wael Jaber emphasized its role in enhancing cyber resilience across the region. Key Highlights: 🔹Horizon3.ai’s automated pentesting now accessible to MENA enterprises 🔹Strengthens continuous security validation for cloud, AI, and digital initiatives 🔹Supports banking, government, and energy sectors with real-time exposure management Read more: https://lnkd.in/eZpkhjnc #CyberKnight #Horizon3AI #BlackHatMEA #CyberSecurity #OffensiveSecurity #Pentesting #MENA #CloudSecurity #AI #DigitalTransformation #TECHx #TECHxMEDIA 🔔 Follow TECHx Media for more Tech innovations, Exclusive interviews & Industry Updates!

Saudi Arabia’s tech market stays resilient in Q3 2025! According to the latest data from Context, enterprise infrastructure and software spending powered a stable performance, even as consumer‑device demand softened. Distribution sales remained flat, hovering close to 2023 averages, as value held up thanks to high average selling prices and enterprise‑heavy purchasing. Crucially, the momentum behind Saudi Vision 2030 continues to drive ICT, data‑center, and logistics investment, underpinned by a macroeconomic backdrop that saw ~3.7% GDP growth in Q3, aided by oil outflows and sustained public investment. The government’s commitment to Vision 2030 priorities, infrastructure, education, and innovation remains unwavering despite a fiscal deficit earlier this year. Notably, Saudi Arabia has become one of the first countries globally to roll out a nationwide AI curriculum to over six million K‑12 students. With the recent launch of phase three of the AdopTech programme, we’re already seeing real‑world AI and 4IR deployments across industrial and logistics sectors. Key highlights: 🔹Enterprise infrastructure & software remain growth engines (disk storage, security, cloud, AI licensing). 🔹Consumer segments (PCs, displays, notebooks, mobile) continue to lag due to softer demand and extended upgrade cycles. 🔹The tech market’s core momentum lies in digital infrastructure and enterprise software, reflecting a clear pivot to long‑term strategic digitization. The shift from consumer‑driven sales to enterprise and infrastructure underscores a broader transformation: Saudi Arabia is not merely upgrading devices, but building the digital backbone required for a smarter, AI-powered future. The latest UNDP AI Report reveals how artificial intelligence could reshape global economies, potentially echoing the 19th-century industrialisation divide. Key insights: 🔹Countries investing in skills, computing power, and governance will benefit, warns Philip Schellekens, UNDP Chief Economist for Asia-Pacific. 🔹Women and young adults face the highest workplace risks, while health, education, and income gains may weaken. 🔹AI could inject nearly $1 trillion into Asia’s economy over the next decade, with China, Singapore, and South Korea leading adoption. 🔹Many countries still lack infrastructure and skills, increasing risks like job losses, data exclusion, and higher energy and water use. 🔹UNDP urges governments to prioritise ethical and inclusive AI deployment, especially in countries like Cambodia, Papua New Guinea, and Vietnam, where simple, voice-based tools can support frontline workers and farmers. The Asia-Pacific region now accounts for over half of global AI users, with China holding ~70% of AI patents and six countries hosting 3,000+ new AI companies. AI adoption could boost GDP growth by 2% and productivity by up to 5% in sectors like health and finance. As Kanni Wignaraja, UN Assistant Secretary-General & UNDP Regional Director, notes, gaps are widening between nations shaping AI and those being shaped by it, highlighting the urgent need for inclusive strategies. The UAE’s Office of Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications has announced a major milestone in culturally aligned technology. Google Gemini ranked first in the world’s first “AI in the Ring” Index, a benchmark designed to measure how well AI language models reflect Emirati culture, dialects, values, and national identity. Officials revealed that Gemini secured the top position after experts reviewed more than 400 questions and 5,200 responses from 11 global AI models. A specialized Emirati committee evaluated each model’s cultural understanding across key areas such as history, creative writing, Emirati Arabic, social norms, symbols, and religious topics. Following Gemini 2.5 Pro, the Office reported that the next high-performing models included ChatGPT (OpenAI GPT-4o), ChatGPT (OpenAI o1), Cohere, and Grok. H.E. Omar Sultan AlOlama, Minister of State for Artificial Intelligence, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications, emphasized that national identity remains central to the UAE’s digital transformation. He highlighted that emerging technologies must preserve heritage, deepen cultural awareness, and grow from the nation’s authentic roots. This initiative comes at a critical time, with less than 5% of Arabic content available online and nearly 48% of Gen Z relying on AI for information. Building culturally grounded AI models is essential to ensure future technologies reflect UAE values accurately.
