Last week, I put out a SourceBottle callout for case studies, as the campaign I had ready to go just needed that human element. A few people replied, but one in particular was quick, detailed, and just really easy to work with. He mentioned that our back-and-forth comms were more than most callouts usually get, so I made a mental note to make sure I went back to him with any results or feedback. A week later, both his brand and my client have already been featured (and linked) in multiple articles, so as promised I sent him an update. He ended up with free coverage while I got strong results, a happy client, and a new contact I’ll definitely go back to. You love to see it. #DigitalPR #PRtips #casestudies

👀 AI doesn’t just read your content... it decides if it trusts you. AI is reshaping Search and SEO. It’s no longer just about keywords and backlinks... it’s about brand authority, trust, and being cited by AI itself. Brands that build credibility and expertise today will be the ones AI (and people) trust tomorrow. Thank you SourceBottle for including the thoughts of our founder Simona Paganetto and mentioning I'm Plastic Free in this interesting article. (🔗Linked in the comments) #AI #SEO #GEO #BrandAuthority

Helping businesses become more discoverable and grow online through Content Marketing & Digital PR

Thanks to SourceBottle/ Bec Derrington for including me alongside some brilliant voices in this feature on AI, search and the rise of brand authority. I really enjoyed contributing to this. It’s great to see more conversations around brand, links and PR happening. I’ve been saying this for ages, and if you want your company to be discoverable in search online it is only going to become more important for you to focus your strategy to include offsite signals in addition to your onsite ones. Instead of searching the more “meh” takes on ChatGPT and keywords, Bec Derrington called in the experts and actually listened, helping us make sense of what’s really going on beneath the surface of “AI + SEO” buzz. Her article distills what actually matters right now in AI + SEO, and she nailed it. Do yourself a favour and dive in: 🔗 https://lnkd.in/gXVEXiMP My key takeaways:  🚦 Brand ≠ logo. Brand = trust signal. Search is changing. Algorithms are leaning into credibility, consistency, and reputation, not just keywords. 🗣️ Mentions matter, even unlinked! Google’s looking beyond backlinks. If your name is being talked about online (even without a hyperlink), it boosts your trust quotient. 🍴 E-E-A-T or be eaten. Authority is no longer optional. It's a ranking factor. And it has to be real! Think: expert contributors, structured content, genuine audience engagement. For fellow B2B founders in “hard to market” corridors (ahem, yes that includes you), here’s the kicker: if you’re still chasing volume keywords and hoping traffic alone will move the needle, you’re playing yesterday’s game. The real value is in being known, trusted and cited across the ecosystem where AI is listening. (Hello, brand authority.) Loved contributing alongside fellow founders and directors on the SourceBottle platform: Robby Choucair, Dav Lippasaar 🚀, Rachel Amies, Caleb Johnstone, Simona Paganetto 诗梦楠, Michelle T., Quentin Aisbett, Rudi (Rodolfo) Tartaglia, and Maggie Holley. Sharp insights, sharper minds, and a future that belongs to brands who’ve earned our trust.

Storyteller + Digital PR Wiz | Words Can Change the World

👑 HARO Is Dead. Long Live the Alternatives! 👑 Today, Connectively (it's still HARO to me!) will cease bridging a gap between those submitting queries and those responding to them, and everyone in the Digital PR space is wondering who will pick up the old-school HARO crown and claim the kingdom. 🏰 But in all honesty, the castle has been crumbling for a long time, and many journalists and SMEs have already moved on to platforms that better suit their specific needs. In fact, the closure didn't come as a big shock to some, even though it has left numerous people asking: So what's next? 🤔 The good news is that I've compiled a super-comprehensive Survival Guide that will provide you with the information that you need for life after HARO. Take a behind-the-scenes look at five alternatives, and hear about experiences and favorite strategies from real-world users. You can also learn (and see) how each platform actually works... sometimes from the Founders themselves. 🚀 Be ready to get cozy with: 🔹 Sources of Sources (SOS) - Peter Shankman, the original creator of HARO and the Founder of Source of Sources, shares his vision about getting back to the basics with SOS, while users Lauren L. Walter and Rameez Ghayas Usmani explain why the platform is the obvious trusted choice for their promotional needs. 🔹 Featured - Brett Farmiloe, the Founder of Featured, discusses the one-of-a-kind dashboard that screams simplicity, while users Deian Isac and Corina Burri share actual success rates, along with organized interfaces and functions. 🔹 SourceBottle - Bec Derrington, the Founder of SourceBottle, gives us the full scoop on a new launch that will be a game-changer. (Don't miss this!) And users Iva J and Lauren Schwartz talk about the ease of niche-specific requests straight to the inbox, and also share successful placements on high-authority sites. 🔹 Qwoted - Shelby Bridges, the Success Manager at Qwoted, showcases how journalists connect directly with experts, while users Katie Stone and Lauren Schwartz share their success stories, including targeted features and specific data on a rise in DA. 🔹 Help a B2B Writer - Experts love how Help a B2B Writer sends the writer directly to SMEs who have registered as sources. Users Tooba Jamal, Iryna Podliesna and Amit Raj discuss the relevancy of queries, plus proven strategies and their detailed end results. And we're not done yet! Safia M. and Martina Vasconez share a few tips that apply to any platform. 💡 During this time of change, just remember that it's crucial to explore your options. Even if you've tried a platform before, chances are they're stepping up their game now, winning over high-authority sites that used to call Cision home. 🏡 And who says you have to use just one platform? Spread that knowledge! You'll be popular. You'll defy gravity. You'll be dancing through life. (Wait... I have no idea how that just happened.) 💚 🩷 😀 Link is in the comments. 😅
