🔌 Wallonia’s electricity distribution tariffs are changing in 2026 A new pricing option, the Tariff Impact, will be available for digital-meter users, alongside the updated single and dual-rate systems. What does this mean for consumers? ⚡ Smarter consumption = lower bills With the new tariff structure, prices will vary depending on the time of day. Shifting flexible consumption (EV charging, heat pumps, washing machines…) to off-peak or ECO hours can significantly reduce costs. 📉 Potential savings The regulator estimates that flexible households could reduce energy costs by: Up to €100/year for a typical family Up to €300/year for EV owners ☀️ Prosumers The compensation mechanism stays in place until 2030. Depending on your profile, dual-rate or the new Impact Tariff may become more advantageous. 🧠 What to do next? Plan flexible consumption, use delayed-start functions, and consider requesting a digital meter if you want access to the Tariff Impact.

⚡Turning smart meter data into smart billing. The transition to smart electricity meters is accelerating, bringing new regulatory, operational, and data management challenges for energy suppliers. To comply with upcoming legal requirements for remote reading and invoicing, one major energy operator collaborated with Haulogy to adapt its systems and processes. The challenge? 🔹 Managing high-volume smart meter data, including 15-minute consumption intervals. 🔹 Ensuring that customers’ billing preferences (monthly or annual) are respected. 🔹 Keeping data accuracy and regulatory compliance across every step of the billing process. Our software made this possible : ✅ Seamless integration of smart meter data into the billing workflow. ✅ Intelligent aggregation of monthly and annual billing cycles. ✅ Streamlined data filtering to handle only what’s needed, improving performance and clarity. The result: a fully compliant, efficient, and customer-centric billing process that supports the region’s transition toward smart energy management. Because ultimately, smart meters only create value when their data improves the customer experience.

💡 E-invoicing is accelerating across Europe, are you ready ? Several countries have already announced their rollout timelines for mandatory B2B e-invoicing. Some will start gradually over the next few years, others later, but the transition is clearly underway everywhere. ➡️ In Belgium, the obligation begins January 1, 2026. ➡️ In France, the mandate is planned for mid-2026. Even if some deadlines may feel distant, the preparation required, especially for companies operating in multiple countries, can quickly become complex. We’ve prepared for this shift. Our solutions are built on the European EN16931 framework and support the Peppol BIS Billing 3.0 format, a key syntax that’s aligned with the standard. This ensures compatibility with current and upcoming e-invoicing requirements across Europe. 👉 Whether your operations are in Belgium, France, or elsewhere in the EU, Haulogy helps you transition smoothly to e-invoicing, so you can move forward with confidence, without worrying about regulatory changes.

💡 Energy bills shouldn’t feel like puzzles. Energy bills are often anything but clear. Yet behind the numbers lies essential information about your actual consumption, network costs, and taxes, everything that determines what you really pay. Here’s what a well-structured bill should include: 📄 A summary page with your customer and contracts details, total amount, payment method, and upcoming monthly advance. 📊 A detailed breakdown showing your previous payments, your actual usage, and whether you’ll get a refund or need to pay extra. 🔍 Explanations and diagrams about your contract type (fixed or variable), energy product, network tariffs, and taxes. Ultimately, your total energy cost comes from three main components: 1️⃣ Energy price : based on your actual consumption and supplier’s pricing. 2️⃣ Network tariffs : for distribution and transmission costs. 3️⃣ Taxes and levies : determined by regional and federal authorities. As the energy transition accelerates, new dynamics such as flexible pricing, green taxes, and prosumer models make billing even more complex and more important than ever to get right. We help suppliers make this complexity transparent. Our solutions ensure every bill is accurate, compliant, and easy to understand. Because clarity builds trust, and trust drives the energy transition. ⚡

Excited to share our latest work on cyber-physical digital twins — the first real-time co-simulation of the full French transmission grid. A national-scale milestone paving the way toward European-wide simulation, resilience analysis, and future-ready operator training. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/efj8X8q7
Cyber-physical #DigitalTwins combine physical grid models with their cyber layer, creating a powerful framework for power system studies. When implemented in real time, they unlock new possibilities for operator training, software assistant testing, and cybersecurity studies. In this context, a paper co-authored by the @Haulogy Consulting team —“Toward a Cyber-Physical Digital Twin for Operator Training: Real-Time Co-Simulation of the French Transmission Grid RTE Réseau de Transport d'Electricité” — is now publicly accessible. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/efj8X8q7 The work demonstrates, for the first time, a national-scale cyber-physical co-simulation of the entire French transmission grid running in real time on a personal computer. Our approach is exceptional in both scale and performance: Running the full French grid in real time — an unprecedented scale. Integrating the physical network model with cyber modeling to bridge the cyber and physical domains. Using an innovative information-flow modeling framework that captures delays, data loss, and corruption through stochastic processes, ensuring scalability, practicality, and real-time performance. 👏 Congratulations to the consulting team for this remarkable contribution, and to all partners involved in advancing digital twin technology. In the energy sector, user expectations have changed. Therefore, through better User Experience we help utilities increase their impact in the Energy transition with a high customer satisfaction and a low cost-to-serve. I was happy to dive into this at the recent Haulogy customer events in Belgium and France with great support from the product team. 💪🚀 Insightful discussions and good traction from our customers and attendees. Feel free to reach out if you want to know more.
In the energy sector, user expectations have changed. Utilities no longer just need tools, they need partners who make their work easier, faster, and more efficient. At Haulogy, we believe that a better user experience (UX) is not just about design, it’s about performance. Every intuitive interface, every simplified workflow, every clear dashboard contributes directly to: 💶 Lower cost-to-serve: fewer manual actions, faster processes, and smoother operations. ⭐ Higher customer satisfaction: empowered operators deliver better service with confidence and control. And because these two factors, operational efficiency and customer satisfaction, are at the heart of our clients’ success, they’re also at the heart of our roadmap. During our customer events and ongoing exchanges with utilities, we co-design improvements that truly simplify daily operations. Every insight fuels our evolution, ensuring that each release brings more efficiency, control, and confidence, the foundations of sustainable performance. When utilities perform better, their end customers benefit too: faster service, greater reliability, and even more value. Because when everyone wins, the entire energy ecosystem moves forward.
