Google在2008年9月23日发布了Android SDK 1.0最终版，此版本针对org.apache.http.impl和WiFi相关功能进行了改进，并对Android权限系统进行了调整。虽然这个版本还不包含GMail和YouTube等应用，但它已经非常接近同年10月发布的T-Mobile G1手机所使用的系统。
