It was incredibly inspiring to connect with fellow innovators at the Digital Biomarkers Summit in Basel just recently. For me, digital biomarkers clearly have a high transformative potential for early disease detection and proactive care - just imagine the impact of catching a disease in its earliest stages – providing a chance for better disease management and even prevention! For payers to reimburse them and for healthcare professionals to adopt them, we need to generate robust scientific evidence for the value of digital biomarkers. This is what we at Roche are strongly committed to, as we clearly see the benefits digital biomarkers provide. Tubulis has gathered one of the largest private biotech funding rounds of the year with a $361 million Series C. New data presented at St. Gallen: The FLEX real-world data registry data demonstrates how BluePrint molecular subtyping refines treatment strategies for HER2+ early-stage breast cancer (EBC). Conclusions from the data: - Demonstrates BP’s clinical utility in identifying heterogeneity within cHER2+ tumors; 46.2% classified as Luminal and 6.2% classified as Basal. - This heterogeneity may explain varying NHT responses. - Consistent with ISPY2 findings, BP HER2 showed higher pCR rates than BP Luminal Suggests BP improves stratification and personalization. - Potentially reduces NHT for BP Luminal tumors with estimated poor response.
