How fast can transformation happen when trust and collaboration lead the way? At this year’s mo:re Conference in Berlin, that question was at the heart of every conversation we had. A sincere thank you to mobile.de for the excellent cooperation and for creating a space where innovation meets real business impact! On stage, our leadership team shared two perspectives on the future of mobility in Europe. Kristin Harder, Marketing Director Europe, joined the panel “China Disruption: How the East is Reshaping the Automotive World”. Steffen Obst, Head of Sales Europe, contributed to the talk “The Power of Partnerships: Strategic Cooperation as a Key to Industry Transformation”. Both sessions centered on one shared conviction: The future of mobility will be defined by speed and partnership. Changan belongs to the second wave of Chinese manufacturers entering Europe, focused on professionalism, reliability, and long-term engagement. We are accelerating development cycles from around 48 months to as little as 16, combining China Speed with European precision. Each Deepal model undergoes more than 150 market-specific adaptations in design, driving dynamics, and software. This mindset goes hand in hand with trust. Changan builds partnerships along the entire value chain rather than relying on isolated strategies. Together with Kroschke, Kuehne+Nagel, Amazon Web Services (AWS), and leading banks and leasing partners, we ensure that logistics, service, data security, and financing solutions meet European standards and expectations. Changan’s commitment to Europe is clear. By 2030, we plan to invest around 2 billion euros into local R&D, production, and design. Our European footprint includes design in Turin, engineering in Birmingham, and the Avatr Global Design Center in Munich. As Ajay Bhatia, CEO of mobile.de, said on stage, success in this new era of mobility will depend on a “New German formula: precision plus courage.” We could not agree more.
