A familiar space returns: the Premium Check-in Area in Terminal 1, Hall A at Fraport AG reopened at the end of November 2025. The updated area brings back what you have missed - direct access from parking lot P31, quiet seating for short meetings, and thoughtful touches like a spacious changing room. Short walking distances and an easy baggage drop-off help make the start of any trip feel smoother. A flying tribute: our Anniversary Fleet ✈️ Next year, we will celebrate 100 years since Lufthansa’s founding. To mark this milestone, six of our aircraft across different sub-fleets will receive a special anniversary livery. Leading the fleet will be the brand-new Boeing 787-9 “Berlin” (D-ABPU), arriving in Frankfurt this December, alongside an Airbus A380, A350-1000, A350-900, A320, and Boeing 747-8.
