I mean, you know that somebody has suggested stuff like “ The ax-head on a rope is compact! ”, “ Spiky handles promote safety ”, and so on. What’s sad (or funny, depending) is that the reasons can range all over the place, from Exhaustion (“ I’m done with this, can we just call it a day? ”) to Avarice (“ I found a customer for Ax-On-A-Rope! ”), or maybe even Fear (“ We can’t afford the liability, ship it without the head! ”) Ah, life in the trenches…
