Favicon not showing in Google Search results

Hello,

I have correctly set up my favicon on my website using the recommended <link rel="icon"> and <link rel="apple-touch-icon"> tags.
The favicon displays correctly in browsers (Chrome, Safari, etc.), but it does not appear in Google Search results when searching for my site.

My website is: (URL Removed by Staff) (shared only for debugging purposes, not spam).

Steps I followed:

  • Uploaded favicon.ico, favicon-32x32.png, favicon-16x16.png and added them in index.html.

  • Verified that the files are accessible via direct URL.

  • Cleared cache and confirmed favicon is shown when bookmarking the page.

  • Checked in Google Search Console, but the favicon is still missing from search snippets.

Is there something else I should configure in Google Workspace / Search Console so that Google picks up the favicon?
How long does it usually take for Google to update it in search results?
