Black Friday is one of the busiest times of the year at JYSK! Luckily our colleagues in stores are ready to bring great energy and deliver the best customer service to all of our customers ⭐ To assist our stores, we have called in reinforcements from our head offices. Today, many of our office colleagues have swapped their desks for store floors to support our amazing store staff and keep the energy high all day. This week, we just finished decorating the local LGBT+HUSET in Aarhus, Denmark – the city where our founder, Lars Larsen, opened his first store back in 1979 and where our Head Office is located 💙 At JYSK, we want everyone to feel free to be themselves. In the same spirit, we are committed to supporting the LGBT+ community and helping create spaces that bring people together 🌈 ”It means a lot to collaborate with companies like JYSK, who can help create the right space for our community,” says Janni Kikkenborg Rossel from the LGBT+HOUSE  (pictured). As part of this collaboration, a group of talented colleagues from our Space Team – who normally decorate our stores – have transformed the LGBT+HOUSE with new furniture, curtains, and décor to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The house is a place where members of the LGBT+ community and allies can meet, relax, and connect through meaningful conversations and events. 👇 We love how it has turned out 👇

From Store to Head Office 🚀 Amalie Eriksen completed her 2-year JYSK apprenticeship in August 2025. A month later, she started in a new support team at JYSK Head Office in Aarhus 🤝 From the Head Office, Amalie now uses her store experience to assist colleagues in JYSK stores all over the world 🌍 Together with her team, she receives and resolves any issues that may arise with the systems in the stores. 🗨️ “I have worked with the same systems in the store, so I know how they function and what it‘s like when a problem occurs. I am very happy to have moved to the Head Office, but I am equally grateful for the experience I gained in the store, which I can now use here,” says Amalie Eriksen, Store Applications Specialist. #ProudtobeJYSK

Para-athlete Bjørk Nørremark receives JYSK’s Bring Dedication grant of DKK 25,000 💙💪 Her athletic level speaks for itself 👇 Several medals at international championships, and most recently a World Championship bronze medal and a Paralympic bronze medal in Paris 2024 in long jump. 🥇 The grant hopefully makes the journey towards the next Paralympic Games in Los Angeles in 2028 easier. “It means a lot. Making everything come together easier, both financially and timewise. It can be difficult when you juggle three arenas like athletics, art, and studies. This gives me the opportunity to optimise and adjust the small things that can make a big difference,” says Bjørk Nørremark. The Bring Dedication grant is part of our commitment to Parasport Danmark and is awarded annually to athletes who demonstrate exceptional drive and dedication. “Bjørk shows an exceptional level of dedication in everything she does. She is a role model. Not only in athletics, but also as a creative talent and a student. At the highest level, it is the small margins that make the difference, and it is exactly those margins this grant is intended to help her refine,” says Søren Brunsborg, Commercial Sales Coordinator at JYSK and grandson of JYSK founder Lars Larsen, who presented the grant to Bjørk.

Celebrating 20 years of JYSK in Bulgaria 💙💪 Exactly 20 years ago, on 19 November 2005, we opened our very first store in Bulgaria in Plovdiv 👇 ✅ What started as just one store in the southern part of Bulgaria, quickly became the beginning of a great expansion journey. 💬 "The last 20 years have been full of excitement, challenges and great results. I am glad that I have been part of the JYSK story in Bulgaria since the very beginning, being one of the employees who worked in the store in Plovdiv. The company has changed a lot through the years, we have reached almost 800 employees in Bulgaria, 60 stores and we have a huge, modern and high-tech distribution centre. I am grateful to all the colleagues who made this success possible," says Luben Mishev, Retail Manager in JYSK Bulgaria. 🎉 To mark the anniversary, we celebrated with a one-month campaign featuring great offers, online and radio competitions, and an in-store event at our very first location in Plovdiv. 💬 “We received much positive feedback from customers on our campaign. Some even shared memories with us from many years ago, when they first bought something from us,” says Nikolay Maystorski, Store Manager at JYSK Plovdiv. Today, 20 years after the first Bulgarian customer stepped into a JYSK store, we are proud to have 60 stores across the country, including five in Plovdiv.
