INSTRUCCIONES MONTAJE DEL PROYECTO
Antes de empezar a montar nuestro libro es importante que mires esta guía para así entender
mejor que cosas necesitas para cada página y cómo debes prepararlo.
El montaje es mucho más sencillo que lo hagas conmigo mientras miras los videos, pero esto te
ayudará sobretodo a saber en que puedes fallar.
Tienes que tener en cuenta que hay muchos factores que hacen que aunque hagas lo mismo que
yo nuestros resultados sean diferentes.Utilizamos papel distinto, la humedad no es igual y vamos a
imprimir en maquinas disferentes, esto puede hacer que los resultados no sean cómo esperas.
El consejo que te puedo dar es que no te frustres. Detectando cuales son los posibles errores
comprendes mucho mejor cómo funcionan las ingenierías. También es importante que si te atas-
cas en una hoja pases a la siguiente y te centres en todos tus aciertos. Yo estaré en el foro para
ayudarte en todo lo que pueda.

COSAS IMPORTANTES
1. Tienes una guia de impresión en los adjuntos de esta unidad.Basicamente te dice que si tienes
que ajustar las bases porque no caben en tu impresora, escales todos tus impresiones al mismo
porcentaje, porque sino no te encajarán.
2. He querido hacer un libro grande de formato de los que se venden. Por eso tienes que unir las
bases de las hojas ya que todo está preparado para que imprimas en A4 en una impresora casera.
3. El mejor papel es de cartulina. Que no sea satinado y de entre 210 /270 gramos. Es importante
que mires hasta que densidad admite tu impresora.
4. Hay piezas que yo he empastado 2 y 3 veces. Empastar es pegar dos piezas iguales para que
tengan más dureza. Puede que con tu papel no sea suficiente o excesivo es algo a lo que le irás
pillando el truco. En este manual tendrás que piezas es importante sean duras.

PROJECT ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Before starting to assemble our book, it is important that you look at this guide to better understand
what you need for each page and how you should prepare it.
The assembly is much easier than you do with me while watching the videos, but this will help you
especially to know where you can fail.
You have to take into account that there are many factors that, even if you do the same as me, our
results are different.
We use different paper, the humidity is not the same and we are going to print on different machi-
nes, this can make the results not what you expect.
The advice I can give you is not to get frustrated.
By detecting which are the possible errors, you understand much better how engineering works.
It is also important that if you get stuck on one sheet go to the next and focus on all your successes.

IMPORTANT THINGS
1. You have a printing guide in the attachments of this unit.
Basically it tells you that if you have to adjust the bases why not
fit on your printer, scale all your prints to the same
percentage, because otherwise they will not fit you.
2. I wanted to make a large format book of the type for sale. That is why you have to join the bases of
the sheets since everything is prepared for you to print on A4 in a home printer.
3. The best paper is cardboard. That is not satin and between 210/270 grams. It is important that you

En esta lección vamos a realizar varios mecanismos. Dos de plataforma de giro que sujetarán nuestro
corazón y realizaremos también una plataforma con un brazo tensor que estirará nuestro hilo para que
éste dé vueltas y consigamos el efecto de giro que queremos.
Necesitas:
Hilo, el trozo de acetato o polipropileno y un palo de plástico o madera.
Lo más importante:
Esta página necesita mucha resistencia, tanto en la base como en los elementos inferiores que son los
que utilizamos de tensores de nuestro hilo

PÁGINA 2 - Tus conexiones cerebrales se apagan / Your brain connections go dark
En esta segunda página tenemos un faro realizado con una figura 3D sin tapa y terminado en una rejilla.
Y tenemos dos cambios de ángulo para aprovechar más espacios y no solo el central.
Encontrás una barca en la parte inferior que lleva incluido el tirador de cambio de ángulo para que veas
que también se pueden fabricar las piezas juntas.
Lo más importante:
No es una página complicada pero si has de tener cuidado y no forzar las plataformas de suelo que van
sobre la base. Te puede parece al meterlas que no encajan pero si las pegas cómo te enseño el el video
lo conseguirás sin problemas.

PÁGINA 3- Fábrica de Dopamina / Dopamine factory
Cómo ves sigo utilizando los elementos que hemos aprendido en la anterior unidad para adaptarlos a
nuestra cartografía. Esta fábrica está creada con mecanísmos en V. Están combinados de forma que de
profundidad y llene también la página en horizontal. Este tipo de ingenierías que necesitan una apertura
de 180 grados para que funcionen bien es recomendable ponerlas en el centro del libro.
Lo más importante: Esta página no tiene grandes complicaciones de montaje y el resultado es muy
bueno. Te animo a buscar nuevas formas que añadirle a nuestra fábrica.
Dopamine factory / Dopamine factory

Seguimos trabajando con los mecanismos que ya hemos aprendido. Vamos a construir una gran noria
basada en el mecanismo de rejilla que aprendimos en la unidad anterior. Para la montaña rusa utiliza-
mos una espiral simple de papel que acompañada con la gráfica nos da mucha dimensión.
Lo más importante: Tienes que tener bastante paciencia a la hora de cortar la parte de arriba de la
noria. Te recomiendo que si tú papel es poco resistente la empastes antes de cortar y así te cuadre todo.
Puede utilizar cartulina negra por centro para así darle más profundidad.

wheel based on the grid mechanism we learned in the previous unit. For the roller coaster we use a simple
paper spiral that accompanied by the graphic gives us a lot of dimension.
The most important thing: You have to have enough patience when cutting the top of the Ferris wheel. I
recommend that if your paper is not very resistant, fill it before cutting so that everything fits. You can use
black cardstock per center to give it more depth.

Esta es nuestra última hoja aunque con este tipo de libros las sorpresas nunca terminan.
Para ella he elegido hacer un mecanismo complejo en 3D que se transforma. Es un mecanismo com-
plejo, de hecho podríamos hacer un curso solo de elementos de transformación pero merece la pena
terminar con algo espectacular.
Lo más importante: Esta es una página un poco compleja. Vas a ver que yo me equivoco en el video al
pegar las pestañas superiores así que estate atenta o atento para no cometer el mismo error.

Descubrirás más adelante donde va esta página secreta. He querido emular una balanza ya que es el
momento de tomar decisiones. Es un mecanismo sencillo una modificación de una plataforma con un
elemento central que funciona como péndulo. Lo importante es que te des cuenta de la cantidad de
posibilidades que pueden dar este tipo de mecanismos.
Lo más importante: No tiene mucha dificultad, verás que esta página secreta tiene dos pestañas en sus
