La temperatura de color de una fuente de luz, es la comparación de su color dentro del espec-

The color temperature of a light source is the temperature of object modeled through a
black body radiator that radiates light of a color comparable to that of the light source. In
other words, is the visual appearance of color of the light.

The CCT rating for a light is in general terms “warmth” or “coolness” measure of its
appearance.

It is conventionally expressed in Kelvin (K) which is a unit of measure for

absolute temperature, even when CCT is a measure for relative temperature.

Índice de reproducción del color (IRC) / Color rendering index (CRI)

El índice de reproducción del color mide la capacidad que tiene una fuente de luz para reproducir colores de objetos en
contrastes con una fuente de luz de referencia natural, como lo es el sol.

Cada tipo de iluminación puede cuantificarse de acuerdo a una tabla de reproducción de color. Esta tabla mide en una escala
de 0 a 100, dependiendo de la precisión con la que se pueda reproducir la luz, donde 100 representa la capacidad más alta de
reproducir la luz natural.

Color rendering index measures the ability of a light source to reproduce colors of objects in contrast to a naturally referenced light
source such as the sun.

Every type of lighting has its place on what’s known as the color rendering index chart. This chart measures a scale from 0 to 100,
depending on how accurately it can produce light that matches as the sun, where 100 represents the highest ability.

El grado de protección IP se refiere a la norma internacional CEI 60529, que clasifica de manera alfanumérica a los equipos y pro-
ductos, en cuanto al nivel de protección que sus materiales le proporcionan respecto a polvo y agua.

Se determina mediante la composición del acrónimo “IP” (protección de ingreso en sus siglas en inglés) más el primer dígito que
se refiere al nivel de protección ante ingreso de partículas sólidas y el segundo dígito al nivel de protección frente a ingreso de
líquidos. Entre más alto sea el valor numérico de cada dígito, mayor será el grado de protección.

IP Code is defined in IEC standard 60529 which alphanumerically classifies equipment and products in terms of degrees of protec-
tion provided against dust and water.

It is a two-digit code, determined by the composition of the acronym IP (Ingress Protection), the first digit represents protection
against ingress of solid objects and the second digit represents protection against ingress of liquids. The larger the value of each
digit, the greater the protection.

El grado de protección IK es una clasificación internacional que indica el grado de protección del material exterior del equipo
eléctrico contra choques mecánicos. El producto debe resistir un impacto mecánico sin alterar el funcionamiento eléctrico ni el
grado de protección IP. IK02 corresponde a una protección normal, IK07 a una protección extra y el IK10 es resistente al
vandalismo.

IK ratings are an international numeric classification to indicate the degrees of protection provided by enclosures for
electrical equipment against external mechanical impacts. The product must withstand a mechanical impact without
altering the electrical function or the IP degree. IK02 corresponds to normal protection, IK07 to extra protection and IK10 is
resistant to vandalism.
