I have to change hosts and wanted to rebuild the latest Debian, NGINX ipsconfig perfect server. It appears that the tutorials are over are over a year old, now use auto an auto installer. The tutorial I found appears to support Apache and not NGINX. https://forum.howtoforge.com/thread...worm-with-nginx-bind-dovecot-ispconfig.91424/ What is best way to install the latest version of ISPconfig with Debian and NGINX. Or perhaps UBUNTU and NGINX? What is currently recommended? Thanks for your help.
Use the auto installer: https://www.howtoforge.com/ispconfig-autoinstall-debian-ubuntu/ Command: Code: wget -O - https://get.ispconfig.org | sh -s -- --use-nginx --use-ftp-ports=40110-40210 --unattended-upgrades
Thanks for the information I will try this tomorrow. What is the current best procedure for installing Wordreess? If rsync the best way to transfer files or is there a better utility? Are Sties and Let's Encrypt and DNS records all manual? Migration tool? I am probably best to clean up old sites and projects and not simply do a 1 to 1 transfer.
Download it into the site, open the website in the browser and follow the instructions on the screen. Are you talking about migrating a server? In this case, use Migration Tool, it will copy the sites, databases, emails etc. all for you and adds them to ISPConfig. Just be aware that if your old server uses certbot for LE, the new one must also use certbot. There is an option for the auto-installer to set the LE client.
