I downloaded the launcher and the two apps (Audio2Face + Composer), but they consistently crash when opening up.
ChatGPT + Google say its available, but it keeps crashing so I’m unsure how to proceed.
Please let me know. I tried downloading with and without a VPN - still no luck.

Launcher and Audio 2 Face are both discontinued products and they are now legacy. I would not recommend downloading them. This is probably why it is giving you errors. Also we do not support any installation over vpn. If you are in certain regions of China you may be blocked by our EULA agreement.
If you want Audio 2 Face, install Autodesk Maya and download the new Audio 2 face plugin for Maya.
