🫀 𝗘𝗽𝘆𝗴𝗼𝗻: When technology restores the Left ventricle natural flow! A look back at the results presented during the #TCT2025 congress in the United States 👇 Affluent Medical shines once again on the international medical stage! This Sunday in San Francisco, at the #TCTCongress, Dr mohammad sarraf, interventional cardiologist at the Mayo Clinic, presented promising clinical results from two high-risk patients who underwent implantation of the Epygon mitral valve to treat severe mitral regurgitation. These promising findings confirm the value of the unique design of Epygon for mitral valve replacement: ➡️ Mitral regurgitation eliminated with no paravalvular leak ➡️ Left ventricular workload reduced by more than 50% ➡️ Physiological vortex formation time (VFT), as one of the most important indices in the cardiac vortex analysis, reduced by 53% ➡️ Intraventricular energy loss (EL) reduced by more than 50% These preliminary data demonstrate Epygon’s ability to preserve left ventricular function, while optimizing hemodynamic performance and reducing thrombotic risk.
