Just a few kilometers from the 24 Hours of Le Mans circuit, one place ensures the safety and handling quality of millions of drivers: Renault Group’s Le Mans site. A place where engineers, technicians, operators - over 1,900 men and women - work side by side, from design and simulation to foundry and final assembly. Jean-Luc Bois, General Manager of the Le Mans Plant, takes you behind the scenes of this unique ecosystem.

[Appointment] We are pleased to announce the appointment of Josep Maria Recasens as Chief Strategy, Product & Program Management Officer (SPPM), effective immediately. This change is part of a drive to simplify the organisation in order to increase its agility and speed. Reporting to Francois PROVOST, CEO of Renault Group, and as a member of the Leadership Team, Josep Maria Recasens will be responsible for defining the strategy to maintain the Group’s positive momentum, guiding product choices for the coming years and coordinating the implementation to ensure the success of the future line-up. In addition to his new role, Recasens will remain CEO of the Iberian Peninsula countries. He will continue as CEO of Ampere until the transformation work is finalised.

When we kicked off the new Twingo project, the brief was clear, and almost impossible. Develop an all-new electric city car. Deliver it in less than 24 months.  In the automotive world, that’s the blink of an eye. Usually, it takes at least 36 months to move from concept to production. This time, we didn’t have that luxury. Sneak behind the scenes of the creation of Renault Twingo E-Tech electric with Jérémie Coiffier, VP Project Engineering China, ACDC at Renault Group & VP Small EV Segment Engineer. 

We are deeply sorry to learn of the passing of Louis Schweitzer, who served as Chairman and CEO of the Group from 1992 to 2005. The Board of Directors, the management team, and all Renault Group employees pay tribute to his memory. We will remember him as a visionary and courageous leader whose commitment and high standards helped modernize and internationalize the Group, through landmark achievements such as the launches of the Twingo and Mégane, the acquisition of Dacia, and the creation of the Renault-Nissan Motor Corporation strategic Alliance. He also championed a human-centered approach to business, combining strong economic performance with social responsibility. Today, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones, honoring his legacy with deep respect and gratitude.
