If intelligence is the log of compute… it starts with a lot of compute! And that’s why we’re scaling our GPU fleet faster than anyone else. Just last year, we added over 2 gigawatts of new capacity – roughly the output of 2 nuclear power plants. And today we’re going further, announcing the world's most powerful AI datacenter, located in southeastern Wisconsin. Fairwater is a seamless cluster of hundreds of thousands of NVIDIA GB200s, connected by enough fiber to circle the Earth 4.5 times. It will deliver 10x the performance of the world’s fastest supercomputer today, enabling AI training and inference workloads at a level never before seen. For AI training workloads, you need compute at exponential scale. That’s why we designed the datacenter, GPU fleet, and network together as one integrated system. This ensures a single job can run from day 1 at exponential scale across thousands of GPUs.  Fairwater uses a liquid-cooled closed-loop system for cooling GPUs that requires zero water for operations after construction. And we’re matching all of the energy that is consumed with renewable sources. And of course, it is just one of several similar sites we’re lighting up across our 70+ regions. We have multiple identical Fairwater datacenters under construction in other locations across the US, in addition to our AI infrastructure already deployed in over 100 datacenters around the world, powering model training, test-time compute, RL tuning, and real-time inference at global scale. In his session at #GTCParis at #VivaTech on “AI Safety: From Autonomous Vehicles to Broader Physical AI,” Dr. Riccardo Mariani, VP of industry safety at NVIDIA, provided an overview of how an end-to-end architecture and foundation models are enabling new capabilities for #autonomousvehicles, providing a human-like driving experience. He explained that the AV community has been developing principles and guidelines to build safe products since its inception. The principles can be broadly described in three categories: Diversity, Monitoring, and Evidence. The NVIDIA Halos safety system is built on these principles and is the result of continuous investments in safety, from research and engineering to active engagement with international standards. Mariani emphasized that independent testing/certification is key to bringing safe autonomy to the world. He said leading certification and services entities have been briefed on the ANAB - ANSI National Accreditation Board-accredited NVIDIA AI Systems Inspection Lab and have indicated intent to consider lab reports as supplemental input to create greater efficiency and accelerate time to market for OEMs and developers. Showing support for the NVIDIA lab are CertX, exida, TÜV SÜD, TÜV Rheinland Group, and UL Solutions, as well as NewTec GmbH and Reynolds & Moore.

In just six years, a deeptech force has risen in France and across Europe. The momentum is here - now is the time to seize it. In 2019 the Deeptech Plan, operated by Bpifrance for #France2030, was launched to accelerate the transfer of breakthrough technologies and foster a strong deeptech ecosystem in France. Today, the results speak for themselves: 📈 385 deeptech startups created in 2024 – 2.3x more than in 2018, fueling a dynamic pipeline of innovation. 💰 €3.4 billion in revenue – Deeptech startups are scaling up and making an impact on the economy. 🚀 3x increase in deeptech funding since 2018, with €2.8 billion raised in 2024 despite a complex market environment. Bpifrance remains a key enabler, deploying €2.2 billion in funding (grants, loans, direct investment, fund of fund) in France to support deeptech startups at every stage. Europe, too, is gaining momentum: 🔄 75% of deeptech acquisitions were led by European actors, with 25 exits last year, showing the growing maturity of the ecosystem. 🌍 €15 billion raised by European deeptech startups in 2024, reinforcing Europe’s position as a global innovation hub that needs to scale As we move into 2025, the momentum continues.
