As part of our commitment to strong, diverse, and future ready leadership, our team members, Ashwini Hegde, Jyothsna Chowdary, Shanthi Pandian and Sweta Pachlangiya, joined upSCALE, XL4W: XLRI for Women leadership development programme. The programme is an initiative of the XLRI Jamshedpur, XLRI Delhi-NCR and the XLRI Centre for Gender Equality and Inclusive Leadership (CGEIL). Held from 7–9 November, the programme brought together 50 women leaders from 18 organisations, creating a space for shared learning and fresh perspectives. The experience helped our team deepen their self-awareness, strengthen their people leadership skills, and develop a broader strategic mindset. They returned more confident in thinking and acting strategically, with a clearer sense of themselves as leaders. Learning alongside participants from other industries also expanded their networks and broadened their viewpoints. At Agratas, we look forward to continuing our participation in this initiative to support the career journeys and development of our leaders. Investing in experiences like this brings fresh ideas, sharper clarity, and stronger contributions to our wider purpose.

We are pleased to share that we recently inaugurated our new Quality Training Centre (QTC) at our construction site in Sanand, India. This purpose-built space has been designed to help our team members develop practical capability, experiment with real test methods and build the confidence required to deliver world-class quality. The centre’s modern laboratory, tools and equipment will allow team members to observe and practise test methods, understand the purpose behind each process and strengthen the skills required for high-quality manufacturing. For our team, the QTC represents progress, pride and possibility. It deepens our quality culture, supports capability-building and lays a strong foundation for future growth.

Congratulations to our cohort of Quality Master Trainers, who have completed their Plant Quality Training Programme at UKBIC! The team travelled over from our India operations to Coventry, UK, for a three-week course developed by ourselves in partnership with UKBIC. Many modules were covered including metallography – the study of the physical structure of metals at a microscopic level, to cell teardowns. Upon completing the course, one of Quality Master Trainers, Shweta Manchwari, said: “During the course we have learnt and gained skills to prepare us to be at our best for the launch of our facilities and deliver them with top quality.” Take a look at what else Shweta had to say in the video below 👇

Last week, Aiden Webber, 15, from Puriton, joined us and our construction partner, Sir Robert McAlpine (SRM), at the site of our battery manufacturing facility in Somerset as part of his work experience 👷 Far from his normal activities as a student at Chilton Trinity School, he took part in various experiences including shadowing our Community Engagement Manager, Nick Cooper, and spending time with SRM team members learning about the first construction phase of our battery manufacturing facility, ‘Building One’ – he even got to see the steel structure up close! We’re delighted he wanted to spend his time with us and find out more about our exciting local project. Our culture is strengthened by the communities we’re part of. Team members at our head office in Bengaluru recently celebrated Kannada Rajyotsava, recognising Karnataka’s language, heritage, and cultural identity. By creating space for regional celebrations across our workplaces, we aim to build a sense of pride, belonging, and connection among our team members. These moments reflect the inclusive, respectful, and people-centred culture we’re committed to building at Agratas.
