Another great Indo-Australian success story is now part of ANZ India Business Chamber. ANZIBC is pleased to welcome Carnival Homewares Pty Ltd from Australia as a proud corporate member. Carnival Homewares Pty Ltd, registered in Perth in 2002, has grown from a single warehouse into a recognised wholesale design house and importer of textiles, jute, and metalware from India. Today, based in Burwood, Victoria, the company supplies distinctive, high-end products to retailers throughout Australia, New Zealand, and Asia. Carnival Homewares brings together two decades of creativity, ethical partnerships, and consistent growth, offering products that seamlessly balance originality, style, and function. The story of Carnival Homewares begins in 2001, when sisters Penny and Anna decided to transform their shared love of design into a business. Their connection with India, however, reaches back even further. In 1978 they travelled there with their father, a formative journey that sparked a fascination with craftsmanship and laid the foundation for long-term supplier relationships. Drawing on influences from their travels through Europe and Asia, Penny and Anna created a brand that speaks in a distinctly Australian voice - one that blends coastal ease, country warmth, and urban sophistication. Carnival quickly became known for originality, authenticity, and a refusal to imitate the mass-produced. Over the years, Carnival has consistently exhibited at national trade fairs, won awards for its stands, and collaborated with celebrated designers like Natalee Bowen of Indah Island and government funded Project - Connected Au. Each milestone reflects the same commitment to originality and ethical sourcing that defined the company’s earliest days.
