𝐂𝐨𝐡𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝟔 𝐋𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥 𝟐 𝐤𝐢𝐜𝐤𝐬 𝐨𝐟𝐟 𝐨𝐧 𝐍𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐦𝐛𝐞𝐫 𝟏, 𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟓! 📅 Schedule: November 1 – November 16, 2025 🕔 Timing: Saturdays & Sundays | 5 PM – 8 PM So, what’s in store for Level 2? 👇 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 𝐑𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 At this level students will develop in depth understanding of semiconductor devices and associated physics and device design aspects.Besides, one can expect the following from hands-on sessions: 1. Realistic device designs and doping profiles. 2. Understand implications of design on the characteristics. 3. Study and experiment geometrical & scaling effects. 𝐀𝐝𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞𝐬 At this level, we will be dealing with next level of sophistication in device structures, including the following: 1. Device structures to be created: PMOS and CMOS. 2. Emulate process level variations in the device structure. 3. Creating a complete CMOS structure considering device isolation strategy 𝐃𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐧 𝐀𝐮𝐭𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 This module advances the hands-on further and brings it closer to Industry practices 1. Script based device structure design. 2. Learning to build/design the full stack of the device using critical design variables. 3. Creating multiple variants of the device structure based on variation in geometrical parameters with the help of scripts and optimize designs. 𝐃𝐞𝐞𝐩𝐞𝐫 𝐈𝐧𝐬𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭𝐬 On the device simulation front at this level, we will be advancing the understanding of simulation by including following steps: 1. Explanation of physical models used in estimating device behaviour. 2. Playing with physical models to understand their impact on electrical characteristics of the device. Cohort 6 Level 1 Test: In response to multiple requests from participants regarding scheduling conflicts with ISRO and NPTEL exams, the Cohort 6 Level 1 MCQ test will be held in two slots: ♦️ 25th October, 11 AM – 1 PM ♦️ 26th October, 5 PM – 7 PM Participants may choose to appear for the test in either one of the slots, but not both. If a participant appears for the test in both slots, both responses will be rejected and no certificate will be awarded. Please note that no further rescheduling will be possible under any circumstances, including college exams or travel plans. The meeting link and instructions will be circulated by this week.
