Mumbai-based fintech startup Saswat Financial Technologies Pvt. Ltd. has raised $2.6 million in a pre-Series A funding round. The approval, confirmed by NPCI on Friday, designates Axis Bank as the Payment System Provider (PSP). This milestone paves the way for RediffPay to offer Unified Payments Interface (UPI) services, marking Infibeam Avenues' entry into the consumer-focused digital payments space. The company had applied for the TPAP license following its 2024 acquisition of a 54% controlling stake in Rediff.com India, with the goal of transforming Rediff into a consumer-centric financial services aggregator.
