Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation, programming, and control systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and safety.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation systems for industrial machinery and processes.
  • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems, with a focus on B&R Automation technologies.
  • Integrate robotic systems and industrial automation software into existing workflows.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
  • Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and data handling procedures.
  • Manage automation projects from concept to completion, including timelines and resource planning.
  • Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
  • Travel to customer sites or manufacturing facilities as part of project execution, commissioning, and support activities.


Required Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
  • Strong understanding of automation technologies, control systems, and PLC programming.
  • Hands-on experience with robotic automation systems, hardware integration, and industrial software.
  • Familiarity with B&R PLCs and HMIs is highly desirable.
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Knowledge of safety protocols and data handling best practices.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
  • Experience in manufacturing or machinery industries.
  • Certifications in automation or control systems (e.g., B&R training, Siemens, Rockwell).
  • Strong documentation and reporting skills.
