Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Automation Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in industrial automation, programming, and control systems. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing automation solutions to improve manufacturing efficiency, reliability, and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain automation systems for industrial machinery and processes.
Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, and control systems, with a focus on B&R Automation technologies.
Integrate robotic systems and industrial automation software into existing workflows.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify automation opportunities and implement solutions.
Conduct system testing, validation, and documentation.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and data handling procedures.
Manage automation projects from concept to completion, including timelines and resource planning.
Provide technical support and training to operations and maintenance teams.
Travel to customer sites or manufacturing facilities as part of project execution, commissioning, and support activities.
Required Qualifications:
Proven experience as an Automation Engineer or in a similar role.
Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, and C++.
Strong understanding of automation technologies, control systems, and PLC programming.
Hands-on experience with robotic automation systems, hardware integration, and industrial software.
Familiarity with B&R PLCs and HMIs is highly desirable.
Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong project management and communication skills.
Knowledge of safety protocols and data handling best practices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Mechatronics, or related field.
Experience in manufacturing or machinery industries.
Certifications in automation or control systems (e.g., B&R training, Siemens, Rockwell).
Strong documentation and reporting skills.
