Job Description:
The Sr. Engineer Maintenance is responsible for overseeing and executing maintenance strategies to ensure optimal performance of production equipment and facilities. This role involves troubleshooting equipment issues, implementing preventive maintenance programs, and leading a team of maintenance technicians to achieve operational excellence. The engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve reliability, reduce downtime, and enhance equipment performance. Additionally, this position requires staying current with industry trends and best practices to implement innovative maintenance solutions.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage preventive and predictive maintenance schedules for all machinery and equipment.
- Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems, troubleshooting issues to minimize downtime and improve productivity.
- Manage maintenance projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Lead and mentor the maintenance team, providing technical guidance and training to ensure high performance.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to identify improvement opportunities and implement solutions.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation, analyzing data to drive decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and best practices within the maintenance environment.
- Stay updated on technological advancements in maintenance practices and recommend appropriate changes.

Skills and Tools Required:
- Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, with hands-on troubleshooting experience.
- Proficient in maintenance management software and systems (CMMS).
- Familiarity with industry standards and safety regulations.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with continuous improvement methodologies, such as Lean or Six Sigma.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and relevant engineering tools.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
