What an incredible adventure it’s been at the AbuDhabi Autonomous Racing League. 🚀 On November 15th, we crossed the finish line in 3rd place — but the result alone doesn’t tell the full story. This race was a real test of who we are as a team. We faced unexpected issues and had to make tough strategic calls under pressure. There were moments when things didn’t go our way, and yet we refused to give up. Every lap in A2RL has been a lesson in humility and ambition. Competing with some of the brightest teams in autonomous racing reminded us why we’re here: to explore new boundaries, to challenge ourselves, and to contribute to shaping the mobility of the future. 🏎️ 🎥 Here is the link to the race replay: https://lnkd.in/dj2Jzbgy A heartfelt thank you to the AbuDhabi Autonomous Racing League for allowing us to be part of this journey; to the race engineering team, the mechanics who stayed by our side and shared every challenge, the staff who made sure everything was as we needed it, the marketing team, and everyone who supported us along the way. We would like to express our admiration and congratulations to Technical University of Munich and Università degli Studi di Modena e Reggio Emilia, who put on a magnificent show and proved themselves the best on track, and to all of the teams: TII racing team Kinetiz Constructor University Code19 Racing Rapson FR4IAV - French Autonomous Racing Fly Eagle TGMGP FTM Institute of Automotive Technology

On July 24, 2025, at the legendary WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca (California), our fully autonomous Dallara AV-24, car #5 “Minerva”, conquered the top step of the podium in the time trial race, in 1:29:79 with an average speed of 232.4 km/h and maximum speed of 236,5 kmh ,and officially opening the weekend of the INDYCAR. 🏎️ For the first time in our Indy Autonomous Challenge adventure we triumphed for the first time in a roadcourse US circuit! 🏁 This represents a powerful milestone in the journey toward high-performance autonomous driving, built on years of cutting-edge research, engineering innovation, and a shared vision of the future of mobility. 🚀 A huge shoutout to all the competing teams and to our opponents,Purdue University and Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology for the achievements and growth, its an honour to share these challenges together. Thank you to the Indy Autonomous Challenge for creating such an extraordinary arena for global innovation, and to our partner Michigan State University and Professor Daniel Morris! A heartfelt thank you to our incredible partners MOVYON - Gruppo Autostrade per l'Italia and Fluentis, whose ongoing support and trust fuel everything we do. Thank you Politecnico di Milano and Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria - Politecnico di Milano for giving us the opportunity to participate in these challenging events. None of this would have been possible without the passion, dedication, and brilliance of the entire PoliMOVE Autonomous Racing Team (Paolo Fusco, Riccardo Poli, Matteo Pierini, Riccardo Vianello, Simone Gabrielli, Alessandro Riva, Daniele Signori, Gabriele Sala, Matteo Pignataro, Giacomo Piombini, Giacomo Farinella, Diego Segoni, Riccardo Rizzo, Nicolò Tocalli, Ermelinda Giulivo, Marialaura D’Amato, Gabriele Artese, Michele Sbacco, Alessio Marra, and team manager Paola Hasalliu) , the performance division AIDA - Artificial Intelligence Driving Autonomous - Politecnico di Milano, and the leadership of Prof. Sergio M. Savaresi, Matteo Corno, Giulio Panzani and the valuable presence of Professor Brandon Dixon, from University of Alabama. Thank you for always being by our side!

We kicked off 2025 at the Indy Autonomous Challenge, diving straight into the heart of technology and innovation at #CES25 in Las Vegas. The PoliMOVE-MSU team proudly participated in the first multivehicle race for the Indy Autonomous Challenge, competing alongside Unimore Racing, Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology, and Cavalier Autonomous Racing. Together, we achieved a groundbreaking milestone, pushing the boundaries of autonomous racing and mobility to their limits. Although our performance was not at its best due to challenges during the race, including errors on our part, we proved to be more fallible than our #MinerVa. Nevertheless, we gained invaluable lessons: there is always room for improvement. 🎉 Congratulations to Unimore Racing for their remarkable achievement, and a big shoutout to all the teams who joined us in this unforgettable Indy Autonomous Challenge adventure in January! We had the chance to share our research at the Future of AI and Autonomy Symposium at University of California, Berkeley and listen to insightful ideas. Many thanks to Professor Allen Yang for this opportunity! During our time in the United States we had the honour of being invited to the #ItalianConsulate in San Francisco to meet with Vice Consul Davide Corriero the Science and Technology Counselor Romeo Beccherelli to talk about innovation and the future of mobility, proving that Italian collaboration knows no boundaries. 🇮🇹 💡 Finally a round of acknowledgments, to begin with our sponsors : - MOVYON - Gruppo Autostrade per l'Italia, Benedetto Carambia, and Roberta Loiacono, for their steadfast support. - Fluentis, for standing by us from the very beginning of this journey. We are grateful to our academic partners Michigan State University and Professor Daniel Morris, along with Professor Brandon Dixon for their invaluable collaboration. Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Politecnico di Milano and the Dipartimento di Elettronica, Informazione e Bioingegneria - Politecnico di Milano for fostering opportunities to experiment, learn, and innovate. A sincere thank you to our advisors Sergio M. Savaresi, Giulio Panzani, and Matteo Corno for their invaluable guidance and dedication. Stay tuned for the next exciting chapter in our journey! #IndyAutonomousChallenge #Innovation #AI #AutonomousVehicles #AutonomousRacing #nosteeringwheelnoproblem
