We participated yesterday in the institutional event ‘La strada per decarbonizzare la mobilità passa da qui’ (‘The road towards mobility decarbonisation passes through here’), organised in Rome by Enilive in the presence of the Minister of Environment and Energy Security, Gilberto Pichetto Fratin, as well as members of the Italian and European Parliaments. The conference was held as part of ‘Tour d’Europe’, an initiative involving IVECO together with other main actors of the automotive supply chain. The project aims to raise #awareness about the development and growing availability of #biofuels for commercial transport, exemplified by an IVECO S-Way powered by biomethane taking part in the tour. Michele Ziosi, our Chief Global Affairs & Sustainability Officer, intervened highlighting the role of carbon neutral fuels in fostering the ecological transition of road transport, in accordance with the principle of technological neutrality. He also stressed the need to recognise the role of advanced biofuels, such as biomethane and HVO, for the reduction of CO2 emissions, required to meet EU targets, and for fostering more sustainable #mobility. #WeGoBeyond

The Sustainable Mobility Side Event, held as part of Italian Tech Week, has drawn to a close, confirming once again CA Auto Bank’s role as a key player in mobility innovation. Alberto Conrotto, Digital Manager at CA Auto Bank, joined a panel organized by EIT Urban Mobility and OGR Torino, which explored how strategic collaborations and targeted investments can accelerate the development of Europe’s mobility sector. The discussion was moderated by Alessandro Di Stefano of StartupItalia. The debate featured contributions from: Matteo Consonni, Investment and Portfolio Manager at EIT Urban Mobility; Francesca Cavanna, Managing Director Europe at Mind the Bridge; and Marco Parlani, Project Manager at LIFTT. CA Auto Bank’s participation reaffirmed its strategic focus on the future of mobility, which involves actively seeking out new innovations and forging partnerships with disruptive startups to accelerate the transition to a more sustainable and technologically advanced world.

Last week, FIA Member Club ACI Vallelunga S.p.A hosted a conference in Rome in collaboration with Luiss Business School and Sara Assicurazioni S.p.A., focusing on how advanced driver training can support ESG performance and reduce everyday operational risks.   The event brought together experts dedicated to improving road safety through concrete, effective actions, with FIA Member Club ÖAMTC sharing valuable insights on how mandatory safe driving training has delivered real and measurable results in Austria.   A key moment was the recognition of SICK Sensor Intelligence Italy, which received the highest rating in the FIA Road Safety Index for demonstrating a strong control over its road safety footprint and implementing robust safety policies.
