【ホスピタル・ファシリティドッグ®︎🐶アニーからオリにバトンタッチ Passing the Baton: Hospital Facility Dog®🐶Annie Welcomes Her Successor Oli】 アクサは、2019年より神奈川県立こども医療センターに入院する子どもたちを勇気づけるホスピタル・ファシリティドッグ®︎アニーの活動を支援しています。そのアニーもすでに9歳となり、後任犬のオリにバトンを渡しました。 先日「ホスピタル・ファシリティドッグ®︎オリ就任式・アニーからオリへの引き継ぎ式」が開催され、オリとアニーにフラワーレイが贈られました。今後オリは、臨床経験を持つ看護師の市川美乃里さんと一緒に活動していきます。 私たちの元には、辛い闘病生活中にアニーに勇気づけられた子どもたちからたくさんの声が届いており、ホスピタル・ファシリティドッグ®︎が果たす大きな役割と活動の大切さを改めて実感しています。 アクサはこれからも、オリと共に、病気と闘う子どもたちに笑顔を届けられるよう支援していきます。☺️   Since 2019, AXA has been supporting the activities of Hospital Facility Dog® Annie, who has brought courage and comfort to children receiving care at the Kanagawa Children’s Medical Center. Now at the age of nine, Annie has passed the baton to her successor, Oli.   Recently, the "Hospital Facility Dog® Oli Inauguration Ceremony and Handover from Annie to Oli" was held, where flower leis were presented to both Oli and Annie. Oli will begin her work together with Minori Ichikawa, a nurse with clinical experience.   We have received many heartfelt messages from children who were encouraged by Annie during their most difficult moments. These messages remind us of the profound impact that Hospital Facility Dogs® have in improving emotional well-being in healthcare environments.   AXA will continue to support Oli in bringing smiles to children battling serious illnesses.☺️ #アクサジャパン #ホスピタル・ファシリティドッグ

【🌍異常気象の背景にある科学的データを活用して行動変容を促す– レジリエントな未来を築く方法を探るアクサリサーチファンドの研究 –🌍 Leveraging Scientific Data Behind Extreme Weather to Drive Behavior Change - Exploring Ways to Build a Resilient Future by AXA Research Fund –】   アクサリサーチファンドは、地球が直面する最重要課題に取り組むアクサのグローバルな科学慈善活動です。地球環境保全や健康の改善、社会経済の安定に関連する研究への資金提供を通じて人類の進歩を支援し、科学に基づく意思決定にも貢献しています。   先日、アクサが支援する研究者の一人、ドイツのカールスルーエ工科大学のヨアヒム・ピント教授が昨今の異常気象について解説した動画が公開されました。動画では、「なぜ異常気象は激化しているのか」「熱波と豪雨が社会・経済に与える影響」「気候モデルが、気候変動への備えや適応にどのように役立つのか」などがわかりやすく解説されています。   現在ブラジルで開催されているCOP30では、地球温暖化をはじめ、さまざまな気候変動問題について国際的な議論が行われています。この機会にぜひ動画をご覧いただき、異常気象の背景にある原因を科学的に学び、よりレジリエントな未来を築くためのアクションやヒントを見つけていただければ幸いです。 https://lnkd.in/eunYi4bT   AXA Research Fund, our global scientific philanthropy initiative, was established to address the most important issues facing our planet. 【大震災の教訓から未来を守る力を育てる。第12回アクサ ユネスコ協会減災教育プログラム🤝Protecting the Future through Lessons from the Past: The 12th AXA UNESCO Disaster Risk Reduction Education Program】   先月、第12回「アクサ ユネスコ協会減災教育プログラム」教員研修会が開催されました。   このプログラムは、全国の教職員の皆さんが東日本大震災の経験や教訓を学び、地域の学校での防災・減災教育につなげていくことを目的に、アクサ生命と日本ユネスコ協会連盟が2014年に創設し、毎年実施しています。   今回、秋田県からの初参加が叶い、これにより47都道府県が網羅されました。この継続的な取組みにより、日本全国の学校や地域で、自然災害においては被害を完全に防ぐことは困難であることを前提に、被害を出来るだけ最小限に抑えることを目指した「減災教育」がさらに広がっていくことが期待されます。🌱   研修では、東日本大震災の被災地の1つ、宮城県気仙沼市を訪れ、まず震災被害の遺構を見学。津波を経験し奇跡的に生還された語り部の方々から当時の体験を伺いました。   また、現地の小・中学校で行われている防災・減災教育の授業も視察。地域と学校が一体となって災害を自分ごととしてとらえ、また、生徒たちが強い防災意識のもと、学びを通じて自ら命を守る行動を考え実践する姿に心を打たれました。   今回の研修は、教育の大切さを再認識し、アクサがこのプログラムを支援する意義を改めて感じる機会となりました。😊   Last month, the 12th “AXA UNESCO Disaster Risk Reduction Education Program" for teachers’ training session was held.   This program, jointly organized by AXA Japan and the National Federation of Association for UNESCO in Japan, aims to help school teachers nationwide learn from the experiences and lessons of the Great East Japan Earthquake and apply them to disaster prevention and risk reduction education in their schools and communities.   This time, a teacher from Akita Prefecture participated for the first time, completing coverage of all 47 prefectures. Through this ongoing effort, it is hoped that "disaster risk reduction education"—which aims to minimize damage as much as possible based on the premise that it is difficult to completely prevent damage caused by natural disasters—will continue to spread across schools and communities throughout Japan.🌱   During the training, participants visited Kesennuma City in Miyagi Prefecture, one of the areas seriously affected by the Great East Japan Earthquake, to observe the preserved remains of the tsunami damage. They also listened to the storytellers who miraculously survived the tsunami and shared their firsthand experiences.   In addition, participants observed local elementary and junior-high classes on disaster prevention and risk reduction, where they were deeply impressed by how the community and schools work together to perceive disaster as their own concern, and how students have developed a strong disaster-awareness mindset and think and take life-saving actions on their own.
