Yesterday we pitched at Techstars Demo Day in Tokyo. 🗼 Today we woke up in San Francisco to fundraise. 🌉🚀 We’re here until November 28th and already seeing strong early interest. Earlier this month we flew to Suwon with one goal: put O-ID (Techstars '25) in front of just the right people. 🇰🇷 At G-SUMMIT Korea, we met founders building next gen robotics and AI, and investors focused on real manufacturing needs. The best conversations were specific and practical. I’ve been working with Techstars portfolio startup, O-ID (Techstars '25) that’s turning this pain point into possibility — building modular humanoid robots that can be repaired on-site, in minutes, without specialized technicians. I recently had the honor to represent O-ID (Techstars '25) at the Global Startup EXPO 2025（GSE 2025）in Osaka. Hello everyone, Thank you to Team Techstars Tokyo Accelerator — I was grateful to support the team with several activities during the Global Startup EXPO 2025（GSE 2025） in Osaka. 1. Guest lecture from a serial entrepreneur We hosted a special lecture and Q&A session with a serial entrepreneur Morgan Berman who is passionate to support Techstars Tokyo Accelerator. It was a warm and inspiring exchange where founders learned practical insights about collaborating with enterprises in the U.S. 2. Techstars Tokyo Accelerator meets Global Startup EXPO 2025（GSE 2025） Together with Hankyu and , @FUTWORKS, we hosted a talk event that included a mini demo day and a panel session. Although we still have six weeks until our official Demo Day in November, this gave founders an invaluable chance to practice their pitches and engage in Q&A. As part of the team, I had the opportunity to learn deeply about each founder’s background, their dedication to solving customer pain points, and their focus on sales. Some already have paying customers — truly impressive. 3. Panel discussion on Japan’s startup ecosystem We also hosted a panel talk featuring Yuki Shirato, Tom Moss and Barry O'Neill, moderated by Arisa Sonoda. The discussion centered on the challenges and opportunities of fostering Japan’s startup ecosystem. It was both eye-opening and encouraging for everyone present. Overall, this experience gave me new perspectives on how startups can collaborate with enterprises and grow globally. I’m excited to keep learning from these amazing founders as we move closer to Demo Day in November in Tokyo! The secret is out! I'm incredibly proud and excited to officially announce that O-ID (Techstars '25) has been selected for the Techstars Tokyo Accelerator 2025 Class. 🚀 To be chosen from a global pool of applicants from over 120 countries, with an acceptance rate of under 1%, is a huge validation of our mission. It’s moments like these that make the hard work worth it. 🦾 At O-ID, we’re building a fully modular humanoid robotics platform specifically designed for critical environments. I'm excited to share that O-ID has joined the NVIDIA Inception program! 🎉 For a deep-tech company building the core platform for modular robotics, this is a real catalyst. It was a great pleasure to be selected as one of the few startups to pitch at The Ventures Startup Award Japan last month. Presenting our vision for O-ID to a room full of inspiring founders, VCs, and innovators was a fantastic experience. For our team, it was a milestone moment that reaffirmed the excitement around our mission to build a future of adaptable robotics, right here in Japan.
