Our team hosted our monthly coffee morning at our Swindon office, with this month dedicated to the Macmillan Coffee Morning to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. These informal gatherings take place on the first Tuesday of each month and have quickly become a valued opportunity for our team to connect. Employees volunteer to bake or bring items to share, creating a relaxed space to catch up, celebrate milestones, and highlight both professional achievements and personal life events. We also include a light puzzle activity to encourage interaction and make the morning fun for everyone. Since beginning these sessions in May, participation has continued to grow, and they have become a simple yet meaningful way for colleagues to spend time together. Earlier this month, we took part in a conference focused on strengthening collaboration between the government, universities and industry. As part of the event, we also participated in a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony with Ho Chi Minh University of Technology and Education (HCMUTE) in Vietnam. We were pleased to host 20 aspiring female engineers and 2 lecturers from Universiti Malaysia Perlis (UniMAP) for an engaging and highly insightful visit to our facility. The program included an introduction to Renesas, a sharing session with a UniMAP alumna now working with us, and a guided plant tour showcasing how our semiconductor technologies and processes are brought to life. The group shared how meaningful it was to see classroom theory applied in an industry environment and how helpful our engineers were in explaining each step.
